A podcast on Terry Pratchett's Discworld Series. Working our way through the Disc at the rate of a book every month, discussing and ranking 'em along the way.
Hey folks, I've been away from Twitter for a while and have only just seen there's problems accessing our older episodes. I'll get to work trying to fix it and keep yiz posted. Sorry for any confusion caused.
Nipping back onto Twitter to mention two things:
1) Steve put our back catalogue up on Spotify, so if that's your buzz, listen gleefully away.
2) Dublin's Culture Night is this Friday & Rose alerted me to this intriguing online event:

Now, away I go!
@Guardiamo1Film Through a combination of Google Translate & my brother's somewhat rusty command of Italian, I was able to read this. Grazie mille! / Thanks a lot!/ Go raibh mile maith agat!
Right, I think I fixed the feed issue. I think. I just downloaded some older episodes from Podcast Addict without any problems, but please let me know if anything is still amiss!
@jympton @colken16 We probably are wrong, in fairness ;) I'd certainly have Small Gods higher in our rankings. Monstrous Regiment in the top 10 is a brave choice, Col, & while I don't agree, I applaud your brio. Mort jumps out at me too. I love it to bits, but the cop out ending irks me no end.
@DIDiscworld It's a funny thing, cause it was one that we had a few issues with when we covered it, but when I think of it now, it's the hits that come to mind. And boy oh boy are there hits: what Vimes' wages go on, Detritus & Cuddy, Vetinari vulnerable, Edward obsessing & Carrot, a good man
& so we come to the end, friends. Herein, I compare Pratchett to Joyce (Happy Bloomsday!), Steve's forgetfulness manifests in a cutting jibe against the book's villain (take that, PeaseBOTTOM!), & Rose rails against us for ranking Thief of Time so low.

@Ghop56 I'm in two minds. There's certainly some acilliary stuff worth exploring, but with some of the others, I'm not sure whether there'd be enough material for a good episode. Whatever we do, I want to be disciplined about it (a fool's hope, I know)
@lcalablaster Cheers Steven! I'm just glad we could contribute to the Discworld conversation. I've really appreciated your questions & comments along the way.
(And frankly, I have my disputes with our rankings too 😉 )
It's taken us just under 6 years to get through all 41 Discworld books... which makes our initial schedule look all the more dementedly optimistic in hindsight. tCoM Aug 10, tLF Aug 18, ER Sept 6, Mort Sept 15. What was I thinking???
