One year ago today I was playing in an @AskJayne Overwatch tournament and was ecstatic when he (and twitch chat) noticed me. This weekend I finally got to meet him after working for @EloHellEsports for almost 9 months. I'm happy
A judge has ruled that corporations can vote in some Delaware elections.
Delaware Superior Court Judge Craig Karsnitz said the town of Fenwick Island was not diluting human votes by allowing companies and other legal entities that own property to cast votes in municipal elections.
These "legal entities" and corporations make up about 12% of registered voters in the town.
In total Delaware has far more corporations chartered in the state than residents.
Judge Karsnitz rejected the constitutional arguments of the ACLU, including the claim that "entity" or corporate voting dilutes the political power of living people.
Rural indigenous communities have surrounded Evo Morales' residence to protect him. Leaked docs (attached below) show US armed forces & Bolivian police preparing a joint operation to kidnap him & massacre villagers.

KOSA is back and is going to be pushed through the Senate Commerce Committee markup some point in the future. This is after a rally put on by NCOSE, an extremist Christian right-wing group that likes to pretend it's anti-trafficking but is actually pro-censorship of everything
4% capacity.
Let that sink in. The Rio Grande - the massive, 1,900-mile artery of the American Southwest - is effectively a ghost. These aren't historical photos; this is the reality right now at Elephant Butte Lake. That "bathtub ring" isn't just a dry season; it’s a monument to a water system that has officially collapsed. We are watching the lifeblood of Southern New Mexico and West Texas evaporate in real-time, and the math on the river no longer adds up.
This isn't just about a lack of rain. It’s about a total systemic failure that is forcing a brutal choice: Who gets to survive in the West? For the farmers in the Hatch Valley, that 4% represents the end of a multi-generational legacy. As surface water disappears, entire communities are forced to drain dying aquifers just to survive.
This reaches all the way to your kitchen sink. As the river fails, cities are forced to compete with agriculture for every remaining drop.
The most terrifying part? While the water disappears, the legal warfare is just getting started. There’s an interstate battle brewing over these puddles that’s about to change the rules for every resident from Albuquerque to El Paso. (Ck my 1st 🔗 to see the “Civil War” info ℹ️
If the river hits 0%, what’s actually left for us?

‼️🚨 ALARMING: Google now treats privacy as suspicious behavior by default. Users of GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, /e/OS, and other deGoogled Android phones are being locked out of millions of websites unless they install the exact Google Play Services software they deliberately removed.
GrapheneOS is recommended by the EFF and used by journalists, lawyers, and activists in high-risk environments. The audience most likely to read Google's data practices and refuse its terms is now flagged as fraudulent for that exact decision.
What happened?:
▪️ Google announced "Cloud Fraud Defense" at Cloud Next on April 22-23, 2026, branding it "the next evolution of reCAPTCHA." Existing reCAPTCHA customers were auto-migrated.
▪️ When the system flags traffic as suspicious, the old click-the-bus puzzle is gone. Users get a QR code instead.
▪️ Scanning the QR code requires Google Play Services running on the device. Internet Archive snapshots show this requirement has been live since at least October 2025, silently rolled out for 7 months before anyone noticed.
▪️ No Play Services = no QR scan = locked out.
The bigger picture:
▪️ Google already tried this in 2023. It was called Web Environment Integrity (WEI), and it would have let Google decide which devices were "real enough" to access the web. Standards bodies and the public pushed back hard, and Google killed it. Three years later, the same idea is back, just hidden behind a QR code instead of a browser feature.
▪️ reCAPTCHA runs on millions of websites. Every developer who keeps using it is now, by default, telling deGoogled Android users they're not welcome...
It’s absurd that American authorities can purchase personal data – that they’re not allowed to gather themselves without a warrant – directly from data brokers. This violates the Fourth Amendment, and it’s time to close the data broker loophole.
Today, @RepThomasMassie, @RepBoebert and @naomibrockwell at the @LudlowInstitute introduced the Surveillance Accountability Act. It requires warrants based on probable cause for all government surveillance and data access. You can read more about it at https://t.co/iFX17ELSLA
The full text for HR 8250, the proposed Federal law which would require all Operating Systems to implement Age Verification, has just been made publicly available.
It is short, poorly written, clearly not at all thought out, and almost entirely devoid of specifics.
Some key points:
- The bill does not specify how age verification would work at all. It states that the Federal Trade Commission would have 180 days to specify the exact mechanism and requirements for Age Verification within the Operating Systems.
- The Federal Trade Commission would also specify data storage protection requirements as well as requirements for how the Operating System must provide access to collected user data.
- This bill would apply to ALL Operating Systems. Everything from Windows to Linux to embedded systems. Yes, even to a smart refrigerator. The “Operating System” definition is incredibly broad.
- The law will be considered in effect 1 year from the date it is enacted.
- Violations of the law will be handled under the Federal Trade Commission Act.
- It is given the “Short Title” of “Parents Decide Act”.

BREAKING: The Senate just passed the legislation allowing the devastation of the Boundary Waters.
The motion passed 50-49, and now goes to Donald Trump’s desk.
The way Republicans passed this bill that prevents future administrations from issuing protections for Superior National Forest, so this pristine land will be exploited in perpetuity unless Congress intervenes to reverse this decision.
The state of Minnesota can still block the Chilean mining corporation from operating in Superior National Forest and protect the Boundary Waters from pollution.
If you have a bug zapper up, it's time to take it down.
A University of Delaware study analyzed nearly 14,000 insects killed by bug zappers over a single summer.
Mosquitoes accounted for 0.22% of them. Less than one quarter of one percent.
The other 99.78%? Moths, beetles, midges, fireflies, and other beneficial insects doing exactly what your yard needs them to do.
Here's why it's even worse than it sounds: mosquitoes don't find you by light. They find you by carbon dioxide, body heat, and skin chemistry. Your bug zapper is completely invisible to them.
Meanwhile it's running all night massacring the pollination night shift.
Moths are among the most important nocturnal pollinators alive, and they're flying straight into your zapper because they navigate by light.
Bug zappers kill over 70 billion insects annually in the US. Harvard Medical School's Zika page specifically warns against them, noting they may actually increase mosquito populations by eliminating the beneficial insects that prey on mosquitoes.
What actually works: eliminate standing water within 100 feet of where you spend time outside.
That's your best bet.
It's time to break up with the bug zapper.
