entertainment world. #BettyWhite would’ve been 100 January 17. She was beautiful, intelligent, funny as hell. She was progressive, empowered, strong. She loved animas & making people smile. Betty White will always be golden.

Parts of Whitley and Knox Counties in KY were under a Tornado Warning until 7:15 AM. That has since expired and a Tornado Watch remains in effect until 9:00 AM for parts of southeastern Kentucky. A wind advisory is in effect until 3:00 PM for much of KY.

The National Weather Service Office in Jackson has issued Tornado Warning for SW Knox County and SE Whitley County until 7:15 AM. At 6:53 AM, severe t-storm capable of producing tornado was over Emlyn, KY, moving NE at 75 MPH. Radar indicated rotation.

2 accidents on I-75 in southeastern Kentucky this morning: 1st accident has northbound I-75 shut down between Corbin exits 25 & 29. 2nd accident has northbound I-75 shut down between Williamsburg exits 11 and 15.

Accident on Cumberland Gap Parkway (US 25) in Barbourville, KY near Burger King. Traffic is being directed through the shopping center.

That accident on the Corbin Bypass is between Hwy 26 and Cumberland Falls Hwy. The road is still blocked.

A bad accident on the Corbin Bypass this morning has both lanes of the road closed for an indeterminate amount of time according to officials. Authorities say to take an alternate route.
