@Raudo396474 I'm blinded by nostalgia for arguing we should be making new work, unshackled by nostalgia? You seem oddly mad at me for my opinion here, given your impression of my take seems to be backwards. Apologies for upsetting you
I cannot recommend Pizza Bandit. It's a poorly made game, and the presence of what I believe to be AI-generated assets signals a general lack of care or attention to detail. My full breakdown https://t.co/m6tJsuNtoW
Wouldn't have minded if it was just claiming any revenue, but it's actually attempting to block the video from going live, and WB has thirty days to contest, so I'm in a bit of a digital limbo here. Will update as I have any.
Had intended to upload a video on Weapons tonight, but it has unfortunately been hit by three separate copyright claims from WB. Shame as it's a bit timely, but I don't know when I can expect it to go up now. Have contested the claims, of course.
Though not much, I will be directing any money made from my Vile: Exhumed video to the developer. I can only imagine how gutting it is (both emotionally and financially) to get banned off a marketplace for your art, and I'd like to do what I can to help.
VILE: Exhumed may be banned for sale, but I refuse to let that stop people from playing the game.
It’s now available, for free, at https://t.co/h8Pv0zHLVx
Please share the site, share the game, and fuck anyone who tries to control storytelling and expression.
@dirtlord77 Thank you for sharing my video and for making the art you do. I can only imagine how rough it's been the last week, and I hope something good can come out of this if our voices become loud enough. You and many other devs have my sympathy for what you've been going through.
I would like to direct you all to this beautifully done video by @RadMisinformed
they speak about VILE: Exhumed as well as the censorship issues game developers are dealing with right now.
