In the most spectacular public display of buyers remorse yet since the coalition govt took power less than 12 months ago, National voters today joined 35,000 others in Dunedin representing more than a quarter of the cities population to protest against the downgrade of their new hospital.

1News reporter Lisa Davies reports on this and similar protests held in Westport & Reefton, “on a day when southern regions united in a chorus of discontent”.

Who would have thought, it’s more economically, socially & politically sustainable to spend 2.9 billion on landlords than use that money to help address the country’s worsening health crisis!
