CLARITY

The defensive clarity at Vipers last season was top…they operated with a rest defense in a clear way & consistently.

It was more of [ 3+2 or 3+1 ] defensive set up whenever they entered the opponent’s final third

The right back always moved up the pitch more

@ChrisBlessedOne Before AFCON 25

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

CAPRADOSI

Special in organizing the team while stationed at the back, his communication, game reading, vision, decision, execution

By the way he would have partly covered certain issues of our midfielders like distances, build ups, positioning

Imagine Capradosi & Walusimbi

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@chrisbrandberry Chris...you understand the game..thank you

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@thee_bald_guy Why

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@KilianMukasa Some coaches don't value certain qualities like the case of Torach and Mukundane at Vipers last season yet at the national team its a different case

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@realbonaventure @JaleMorgan3 @AhmedMarsha Weldone senior

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@MuhumuzaFredo @UgandaCranes I trust you coach... keep cooking

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

CRANES

2 consecutive games, Paul Put has utilized 3-4-2-1

. In Possession 3-2-5
. Out of possession 5-2-3 or 5-3-2
. Transition to defend & attack simplified
. Coordination needs more details in middle & final 3rd

Asiimwe fits well wing back role while Aziz has to adapt more

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@Momanyielijah01 @AzamTVKenya Thank you for the great work yesterday

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@VipersAddict He is the type of CDM that I dream of

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

CRANES

Joel Sserunjogi & Abubakar Walusimbi have the qualities of the kind of CDM whom I want at cranes

At the moment, Joel hasn't fully settled in at Vipers while Walusimbi seems to be focused on his move to Denmark

. Organisation
. Build ups
. Communication

Mostly Walusimbi

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@victornevohkhaz If he is serious enough and under a good coach at the club he can even receive a call up mostly in that March 2027 international break

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

ASIIMWE

The crazy me who's always spot on with player profiling wants to test Nathan Asiimwe in the midfield mostly in these friendlies against DRC

Risk taking is part of me

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@victornevohkhaz Wait when he fully adapts to the senior team...he will be too unstoppable

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

TORACH

I wrote this about Rogers Torach in June despite having less playinng time at Vipers last season

Look at how he's delivering for Uganda Cranes...just add him a better CDM

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

TORACH

He is the most tactical & offensive center back in the UPL....fits in a back 3 & 4, good at initiating switch play, good at progressive carries & passing

Happy birthday Rogers Torach

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

@cliff_n Just an error... anyway thank you

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

UGANDA CRANES

Arnold Vula & Nathan Asiimwe having immediate impact in their debut games clearly shows the importance of neutralization

Asiimwe delivering as a wing back has been so brilliant & Vula getting a goal within the halftime

Exposure, better grassroot football is key

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

CRANES

The Central defensive midfield is a big issue & I have analyzed this before...I had generalized it as the "midfield question"

My full-time analysis drops tomorrow.

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

UGANDA vs LIBYA

Key things that need attention as analyzed from Hoima City stadium

. Build ups
. Midfield(biggest challenge)
. Control
. Coordination(options were too limited)

Anyone with the footage,... kindly help coz this match needs a lot of detailed analysis

[Rafa Odeke @RafaOdeke]

UGANDA vs LIBYA

. Answers to my Uganda cranes "midfield question" remain unanswered & this is completely killing our performance coz its the engine.

. The midfield is the everything in this sport

Anyway welcome back from Hoima City
