It is with deep sadness that we can confirm three members of the Royal Navy have died during a helicopter training exercise on Wednesday 3 June near Sourton, Devon.
The 86th Anniversary Battle of Britain Service of Thanksgiving and Rededication will take place at Westminster Abbey at 11am on Sunday 20 September 2026.

Ann Hughes spent two decades serving as an RAF Policewoman. But in 2007, she faced a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
After being discharged, Ann felt lost and struggled as her mobility deteriorated.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide support to Ann.

Former Sqn Ldr Tony Jackson is embarking on a 910-mile motorcycle challenge from 28 May - 2 June for the RAF Family.
His route starts at Land’s End & passes through Taunton, @RAF_Shawbury, Penrith, Stirling, & Inverness, before finally crossing the finish line at John O’Groats.
