Deaths status!
Imam al-Sadiq (a) narrated through his forefathers (as). He said: Ali (a) said:
"Death is not given its proper due [i.e status] if one considers tomorrow to be his.
ما أنزل الموت حق منزلته من عد غدا من أجله
📚-[Al-Amālī al-Saduq]
Surah al-Kahf [18:28]
"And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His face [i.e., acceptance].."
Surah al-Kahf [18:13]
"It is We who relate to you, their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.
@faysal_hh As for your point on Sheikh al-Saduq than you just need to go back and read my thread. It's advised to read before you respond to anything. My whole point is based on the same principle laid out my al-Najashi(ra). I never mentioned any kind of Jarh from al-Saduq(ra).
@faysal_hh I don't know if you are a jahil or act like one of them. How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not an akhbari? This ptr was edited by a brother some two years ago and I just posted this on my profile. It seems cheap from people like you to throw these words all the time.
We'll have to see reports in our time today in order to apply the hukm of ghuluw if 'x narrator' was infact a ghali. Incase of no certainty we might not accept al-Najashi words.
Allahu'Alam!
for Najashi might not be ghuluw for us.
You can take the example of Sahw not attributed to Prophet (peace be upon him & his family) being ghuluw for Sheikh al-Saduq and his teacher Sheikh Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Walid while majority of people reject this notion today.
are all sources of the action [i.e shi'a can act on all these ahādīth mentioned in those books].."
- Allamah Majlisi than goes on to criticise other scholars.
al-Himyari, Sheikh al-Mufid and what is available to us - by the praise of Allah - from the reliable usul [i.e books compiled by the companions of Imams] mentioned in the books of Rijal [i.e biographies], and I have included their reports in Bihar book [i.e Bihar al-Anwar]..
