@CalPLogan I wouldn’t mind typing out the double n dash if it always made an m dash, instead of only if a word follows.

but if I’m writing interrupted dialogue I need to type out “I didn’t—a” then go back and delete the a to get “I didn’t—“

@agletterman I’ve seen a lot of the opposite, where people seem to think those who plot / outline are inherently bad writers (mostly because Stephen King said something similar).

If you ask me, people should do whichever works for them, without feeling superior about it.
