There's things we learned from our parents that we need to unlearn. Mine is this poverty mindset & the feeling of guilt whenever I spend money on myself. Also the feeling of guilt whenever I want to relax instead of constantly working

The internet has completely ruined our ability to accept healthy love. We have started weaponizing therapy speak against perfectly normal men. He isn't "love bombing" you; he’s just actually excited to date you. He isn't "codependent"; he just wants to spend time with his girlfriend. We are so terrified of being played that we are actively villainizing men for doing exactly what we begged them to do.
A lot of women demand absolute perfection from men while bringing nothing but "their presence" to the relationship. We expect average, hardworking guys to have the emotional intelligence of a licensed therapist, the income of a CEO, and the patience of a saint. Meanwhile, if a man asks what we bring to the table, we get deeply offended. Good men deserve effort, romance, and to be spoiled just as much as we do.
