AMJAD ALI BHAT has been a vocal critic of the state of Pakistan and has been posting regularly against Pakistan and the mistreatment of the Shia Muslim minority by the state of Pakistan.

Amjad, like other Shia Muslims of India's Kashmir valley had recently posted extensively on the deteriorating condition of Shia Muslims in the state of Pakistan in the aftermath of suicide bombing attack in an Islamabad Shia Imambargah in which nearly 100 Shia Muslim worshippers including many Shia Muslims from Pakistan Occupied Gilgit & Baltistan had died.

AMJAD ALI BHAT's family as well as his Saudi company does not have any information about him and haven't heard from him or the Civil Defence Force department since 25th March.

AMJAD ALI BHAT's family said that no one in Kashmir Valley was ready to help them or to just to even highlight their case on social media because of "vote bank" politics.

They said that despite the fact that Kashmir Valley has many prominent Kashmiri Shia Muslim politicians, none helped them for fear of alienating and antagonizing a section of their voters.

I request, India' Ministry of External Affairs @MEABharat and Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to kindly help Amjad Ali Bhat.
