Breaking on MS NOW: Donald Trump was just "thunderously booed" during the National Anthem at the NBA Finals in New York, according to the pool report.
He was shown on the Jumbotron and then booed so much that the shot was taken down.
We won our case against the Trump administration for trying to destroy the H-1B visa program.
Thousands with these visas serve New Yorkers as doctors, teachers, and other skilled workers.
I'll keep fighting to protect them and our immigrant communities.

BREAKING: Scott Pelley Just Made A Pretty Stunning Allegation.
According to Pelley, CBS leadership wanted a story about the killing of ICE protester Renée Good changed to better match Trump's version of events.
Pelley says he was told management wanted protesters portrayed as more violent and wanted Good described as driving toward the officer who shot her. He says the video evidence showed otherwise.
Then came the admission.
"There was a thumb on the scale for the president's version of events."
A veteran journalist with 37 years at CBS is alleging political pressure was applied to change the facts of a story.
That's a remarkable accusation.
If you want to get upset with Welker for asking a question Trump didn't like - or if you thought her rude - let me ask you this: If our President cannot handle a question he doesn't like from a reporter then how can he handle himself against foreign leaders who don't like us?
59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF.
Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.
Soccer would not exist without immigrants. Immigrants play and coach the game, work in the stadiums, fill the stands, and make celebrations like the World Cup possible. Six of the players on the US Men's National Team are immigrants.
We will not allow ICE or anyone else to sow fear in our communities — especially at this moment. As the world comes to our city, we will stand proudly with our immigrant neighbors and reject these attacks for what they are: an attempt to divide us.
🇮🇱🇵🇸 Israel just closed ALL crossings into Gaza and cut off humanitarian aid
In the middle of a brutal humanitarian crisis. Because Iran fired missiles at them.
Palestinians in Gaza had zero to do with Iran’s attack. This is collective punishment, plain and simple.
Starving civilians who are already suffering as payback for something happening hundreds of miles away.
Disgusting.
No justification. Just more cruelty piled on people with no power in this fight.

Trump to NBC: “First of all, I didn’t guarantee no war.” And: “So when you say I promised – I didn’t promise anything. I don’t like these endless wars. This is not an endless war.”
Reality: Trump promised in two of his highest-profile 2024 addresses not to have any wars at all, and he also made that promise in a bunch of other forums. Some examples:
June 2024 social media post: The election is “a choice between STRENGTH or WEAKNESS, COMPETENCE or INCOMPETENCE, peace and prosperity or war and no war.”
July 2024 Republican National Convention acceptance address: “With our victory in November, the years of war, weakness, and chaos will be over. I don’t have wars.”
August 2024 Pennsylvania rally: “Under Trump, we will have no more wars, no more disruptions, and we will have prosperity and peace for all.”
August 2024 North Carolina rally: Approvingly claimed Viktor Orban had said, “Make sure that Trump gets re-elected president and you're not going to have any more wars,” then added himself, “No more wars. No more disruptions. We will have prosperity and we will have peace.”
August 2024 Adin Ross interview: Boasted that he had no wars during his first term, then said, “And we won't have wars again.”
October 2024 Wisconsin rally: Did one of his numerous renditions of the Orban story: “Viktor Orban said, ‘If Trump comes back, you won't have any wars. You won't have any wars.’ And he's about as tough as they get, and he said it loud and clear and he said why. But you won't have any wars.”
November 2024 Election Night victory address: “I'm not going to start a war, I'm going to stop wars.”
That is in addition to the many times he struck similar themes without the explicit promise of having no wars period if elected again – for example, vowing to stop “endless” wars or prevent “World War III,” denouncing “warmongers,” boasting of having had “no wars” in his first term, or saying we don’t “need” wars.

President Trump told NBC's Kristen Welker that she was wrong when she said he'd promised no new wars. She was right, he was lying; he made that promise repeatedly in 2024. The evidence: https://t.co/Vcb6vttwoc
No, Mr. President. The 2020 election that you lost was not "rigged" or "dirty," handing out $1.776 billion to violent insurrectionists is not a "good idea" & reporters who ask questions about your bogus claims are not "crooked."
You are a president, not a dictator. Act like it.
I almost feel sorry for Trump when he feels a need to yell: Netanyahu is not my boss!
Trump announced on April 18 that he "prohibited" Israel from bombing Lebanon. They laughed and bombed the next day.
Trump wants a deal with Iran but is petrified of The Israel Lobby's rage.
Trump is exactly what we knew he was. The harshest questions and criticisms of journalism today and history tomorrow are about how a generation of Republican politicians, partisan media, and US voters willingly chose to ignore it for power.
This statement is only true if Israel can do it on their own. As of now, they cannot and they are not.
Currently, Israel is only able to take action with our support and our resources—because of this, we should be calling the shots.
We aren’t, and that’s the crux of the issue.
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 Hold these three facts in your head at the same time, because Washington apparently can't...
Fact one:
The Pentagon reportedly raised Israel's counterintelligence threat level to "critical," the highest designation that exists.
That's the tier reserved for top adversaries like China and Russia, rating Israel above every American ally and above some of America's actual enemies.
The White House calls the reporting "false" and Israel categorically denies it, but the accounts are sourced to multiple current and former U.S. officials across two major outlets.
Fact two:
Netanyahu sent a personal letter to Rep. Marlin Stutzman endorsing a resolution to phase out U.S. military aid over a decade and replace it with what he called, in his own words, "my plan": a shift from aid to joint defense partnership spanning missile defense, AI, drones, and cyber.
Fact three:
A separate but parallel measure, Section 224 of the defense bill, would mandate structural integration: joint weapons production, linked military systems, and shared data between the two countries.
Two distinct legislative tracks, one direction: permanent entanglement with the country the Pentagon just reportedly flagged as a critical espionage threat.
Any functioning political system would treat fact one as disqualifying for facts two and three.
You do not wire your military networks into a government your own intelligence agencies say is running an "unhinged" collection campaign against your officials.
Counterintelligence 101 forbids it.
If China's leader sent a personal letter to a congressman describing his plan for U.S.-China defense integration while the Pentagon caught Chinese spyware on American officials' phones, every name attached to the bill would be under investigation by Friday.
Israel does both in the same month and gets a committee markup.
That gap is the most precise measurement we have of how compromised the system actually is.

Welker: Do you think anyone who attacks police officers on January 6th should get taxpayer money?
Trump: I can tell you this, 97% of those people, you look at them, the FBI or whoever it was, you had a lot of crooked cops. They had FBI agents ushering them in. You had a bunch of dirty cops.
Welker: There’s no evidence of that.
Trump: Try looking at the tapes.
Welker: 172 people did plead guilty to assaulting police officers.
Trump: You know why they pled guilty? They were told they were going to jail for 15 years. They pled guilty because they were frightened. They went down and ushered into a building.
