Mengikut laporan Metro online....yang memetik Ketua Polis Daerah Kajang, Asisten Komisioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, kes ini disiasat mengikut Seksyen 41(1) Akta Pengakutan Jalan (APJ) 1987.

Jika disabit kesalahan boleh dikenakan hukuman penjara lima hingga 10 tahun serta denda RM20,000 hingga RM50,000

Menurut beliau, siasatan mendapati pemandu kereta dari arah Kajang memandu laju sebelum masuk ke susur menuju Ampang secara melulu dan memotong kenderaan di hadapan lalu merempuh motosikal di lorong kanan.

"Akibat pelanggaran tersebut, mangsa lelaki tempatan berumur 24 tahun yang bekerja sebagai mekanik mengalami kecederaan parah di bahagian kepala dan putus tangan kiri serta disahkan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian.

"Manakala pemandu kenderaan iaitu lelaki tempatan berumur 26 tahun yang bekerja sebagai pemandu e-hailing ditahan bagi membantu siasatan dan dibebaskan dengan jaminan polis hari ini," katanya dalam kenyataan, hari ini.

Mohon pihak polis dan Peguam Negara meninjau kembali kes ini.

Apakah benar ini kes pemandu e-hailing menukar lorong secara melulu atau tindakan bersifat dendam dan berniat membunuh?

Mungkin ada motif lain pemandu e-hailing itu bertindak seperti dalam video yang viral.
