URGENT COMPLAINT & COMPENSATION CLAIM – Repeated Breakdowns of Ashok Leyland Vehicle MH-40-DC-5295

Dear Ashok Leyland Customer Care & Senior Management,

I am writing to raise a serious and urgent complaint regarding my Ashok Leyland vehicle bearing Registration No. MH-40-DC-5295, purchased from Ahuja Automobile, Nagpur.

It has been only approximately 8 months since I purchased this vehicle, but unfortunately I have been facing one problem after another almost every 10–15 days. I have repeatedly approached the dealer/service team for repairs, but the problems are not being permanently resolved. Even after servicing and repairs, new or recurring issues continue to occur.

This situation is causing me severe financial and mental stress. I purchased this vehicle for my business and expected reliable performance, but instead the repeated breakdowns and service downtime are seriously affecting my business.

Due to these continuous problems:

- My vehicle frequently remains off-road and unavailable for business.
- I am losing daily business income and work opportunities.
- I am suffering additional expenses because of repeated repairs, downtime and related problems.
- I have already suffered a significant financial loss because of the vehicle.
- Due to the financial pressure caused by these repeated vehicle problems, two of my loan instalments have already bounced.
- The financial loss is still continuing because the vehicle is not operating reliably.

I have purchased a new commercial vehicle from Ashok Leyland with my hard-earned money, but within just 8 months I am facing repeated failures every 10–15 days. I cannot continue operating my business in this manner.

I therefore request immediate intervention from Ashok Leyland senior management.

I specifically demand the following:

1. A complete inspection of my vehicle by a senior Ashok Leyland technical team.
2. A complete review of the vehicle's service and repair history.
3. Identification and permanent rectification of the root causes of all recurring problems.
4. Replacement/repair of defective parts under applicable warranty, wherever applicable.
5. A written report explaining the defects found and the corrective action taken.
6. Financial compensation/recovery for the actual financial losses I have suffered because of the repeated breakdowns and downtime of this vehicle.
7. Compensation/recovery should also take into consideration the ongoing loss of business income and other genuine expenses/losses caused by the vehicle remaining unavailable for work.
8. I am ready to provide service records, repair bills, downtime details, income-loss records, EMI/bank records and other supporting documents required to establish my financial loss.
9. Please ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly inspected and made reliable before it is returned to me.

I want to make it very clear that I am not asking for another temporary repair. I need a permanent solution to the repeated problems and an appropriate monetary recovery/compensation for the financial losses caused by these failures and downtime.

I have trusted the Ashok Leyland brand and invested my hard-earned money in this vehicle. However, because of the repeated problems, I am now facing serious financial difficulties, including bounced loan instalments.

Please register this complaint as an urgent senior-management escalation and provide me with a Complaint/Case Reference Number immediately.

If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily within a reasonable time, including the issue of my financial losses and compensation, I will be compelled to escalate the matter through the appropriate consumer grievance and legal channels.

I request your immediate intervention and a written response.
