A sectoral session on Energy, themed “Policy to Practice: The Evolving Role of BESS in RE Integration,” was held during Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025.

The session aimed to explore the transformative role of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in advancing renewable energy integration.

The session was graced by Sh. Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Minister of Power and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs; Sh. Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Rajasthan; Sh. Heeralal Nagar, Hon’ble Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge), Government of Rajasthan; and Sh. Sumit Godara, Hon’ble Minister, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Government of Rajasthan.

The session also featured distinguished speakers from across the energy ecosystem, along with senior officials from India’s core energy regulatory and government bodies.

At the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma highlighted Rajasthan’s achievements under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

He emphasised youth empowerment through new employment opportunities, skill development and entrepreneurship initiatives, along with Rajasthan’s leadership in solar energy and the ambitious Hariyalo Rajasthan mission to plant 50 crore trees.

He also highlighted major infrastructure advancements, including over 36,000 km of roads, airports, logistics hubs, and industrial areas.

Announcing the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2026, he invited the diaspora to invest in the state and strengthen their bond with the motherland, embodying the spirit of ‘Karmabhoomi se Matrabhoomi’.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, while addressing the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas in Jaipur, announced the establishment of 14 new Rajasthan Foundation chapters, expanding the state’s global outreach to 40.

He emphasized the role of the diaspora as key partners in Rajasthan’s growth, highlighting new policies in tourism, aerospace, defence, and the semiconductor sectors.

With continued ease of doing business reforms, Rajnivesh facilitation and the development of industrial corridors, Rajasthan is positioning itself as a hub for investment, innovation and global collaboration.
