In these times, let's rededicate ourselves to the constitutional ideals and values enshrined in the Preamble by the respected members of the Constituent Assembly https://t.co/AQ8KhxpHCx #ConstitutionDay
IndiGo fiasco is the cost of this Govt’s monopoly model.
Once again, it’s ordinary Indians who pay the price - in delays, cancellations and helplessness.
India deserves fair competition in every sector, not match-fixing monopolies.

One the richest, most powerful & well connected businessman in the world is fighting small independent you-tubers. A man who owns one of India's biggest media conglomerates is discovering that news content creators with one camera - broadcasting from one room - have one thing ....that money cant buy.
During India's First Emergency (besides the notable exception of @IndianExpress) - it were the smaller independent publications that stood their ground & gave Indira Gandhi a tough time. Publications like #Himmat & #Pratap didn't bend despite hundreds of journalists being sent to jail & courts being a mute spectator.
Today, 50yrs down the line - as history repeats itself, we at @thedeshbhakt are proud to keep that tradition alive along with a select group of individuals. The tradition of questioning people in power & not bending to money & muscle.
On the 16th of September - a Delhi Court passed an ex-parte injunction order against nine journalists & organisations (including @paranjoygt & @t_d_h_nair) who had been regularly reporting on Adani.
While such orders have become mundane in New India - what set this apart was a 'John Doe' on the 10th defendant. This basically allowed Adani to make a list of people that IT THOUGHT was making 'defamatory content' against it - these people were not even NAMED in the defamation suit.
Now independent youtubers & publications such as @ravish_journo, @ajitanjum, @newslaundry, @dhruv_rathee, @abhisar_sharma and yours truly have been given 36 hours to delete over 200 pieces of content - without any opportunity to contest this order.
Whatever your political leanings may be - know that this is now beyond politics and this silencing will impact everyone.
We take this move as a compliment and this is testament to the power & credibility that small independent Digital Publications have been able to garner. We thank each and every member of the Deshbhakt family for their trust and support.
We do not know when OR IF the higher courts will reverse this alarming order - but we will carry on our mission to punch up, question everything & fight for our Democracy.
As for the legal angle - there is a laundry list of businessmen who tried to silence journalists using the courts - usually it didn't end very well for them.
Make her famous. It is our duty to stand by the rare officers who dare to do their job fearlessly. She has put her future on the line for us. Let us reciprocate by standing with her!! 🫡🙏🙌🏽🙌🏽
This is Shweta Sanjiv Bhatt,
Today marks 7 years … 2555 days since Sanjiv Bhatt, an honest, upright officer, has been languishing in jail — wrongfully incarcerated for having the courage to speak truth to power!
As I sit to pen down this post, I pause to wonder when we, as a nation, lost sight of what truly matters ....When did appeasing the fragile ego of a megalomaniac fascist take precedence over safeguarding the very soul of our country?
Today, brilliant minds, honest souls, and courageous hearts languish in prison ...They are mocked, humiliated, and silenced by a judiciary that was meant to protect them, meant to deliver justice, not serve as a handmaiden to power. And so, we must ask ourselves: where did we, as a people, go wrong? And more hauntingly — is it too late to turn back?
It takes unimaginable courage, resilience, and faith to stand alone against an entire system designed to crush you. Day after day, year after year, these heroes endure indignity, isolation, and suffering — yet refuse to bow down! The nation owes them a debt beyond measure …. And yet, instead of standing with them, we leave them to fight alone.
Today marks seven years of Sanjiv’s unlawful incarceration …. Seven years stolen from a man whose only “crime” was to speak truth to power. Seven years during which the machinery of injustice has worked tirelessly to break his spirit. Seven years in which rapists, murderers, and lynchers walk free, while a man of conscience languishes in jail — his courage the only crime that keeps him there.
As days bleed into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years, the mockery of justice continues. I often wonder, Who is to be held responsible? The totalitarian political duo that pulls the strings? The judiciary that bends its spine to serve power? Or the mute spectators who choose comfort in silence while injustice reigns?
We, as a family have and will continue to fight for justice…. the question is, when will you find your courage to join the fight? When will you rise and say: Enough, is Enough!!
This regime survives on fear. It thrives on cowardice, greed, and silence. But must we remain silent? Must we allow them to believe that we, the people of India, are cowards, spectators, shadows without voices?
The time has come to prove otherwise. The time has come to raise our voice. Stand for the heroes who sacrifice everything — their freedom, their families, their futures — yet walk with heads held high and smiles on their faces!
This regime has tirelessly tried to make every attempt for the world to forget these heroes, but we must not ... We cannot!
For seven long years, Sanjiv Bhatt has stood alone, fighting quietly, courageously, against the darkest forces of power. He has endured what few of us could, with dignity and unshaken conviction.
If there was ever a moment to defend those who defend truth, that moment is now…
If there was ever a time to reclaim the nation’s conscience, that time is now…
If there was ever a chance to prove that India still has brave hearts who will not bow to tyranny — it is now!
It is time for us to show Sanjiv Bhatt that he is not forgotten …That he is not alone in his fight!
The time to fight for justice is now!!

For a nation that taxed notebooks, pencils etc at 12% and calls it a gift when exempting it, we should be worried. All this, while the real business model is:
1. To impose an entrance exam at every stage, push people to coaching and charge 18% GST.
2. Permit degree mills to prosper and push students to skilling courses to become employable (and charge taxes when you earn).
The real model is the education services charged at 18%. Not the erasers and pencils exempt from GST.
So PM @narendramodi talks about purchasing products made in India. When are you asking your supporters to stop the hate against fellow Indians who are Muslims.
Recently an influencer had to publicly apologise and delete a video of him promoting religious harmony. The video was about a YouTuber Atharva Sudame purchasing Ganesh idol from a Muslim seller.

It's been more than two days. Pin drop silence by National TV News Channels and News Agencies like @ANI.@ians_india. Not one Godi Anchor @sudhirchaudhary@RubikaLiyaquat@AmanChopra_@smitaprakash@AMISHDEVGAN@SushantBSinha@anjanaomkashyap@chitraaum@navikakumar@RShivshankar@SwetaSinghAT etc spoke about this horrific incident on their show. No TV debate on Prime time. Only Local News Channels are covering this.
Far right outfit, Sri Rama Sene leader Sagara Patil and two others poisoned school kids to get Muslim Head Master Suleman Gorinaik transferred. Several children aged between 7 and 10 yr fell sick after drinking water at the Govt School in Belagavi, Karnataka.
Today marks a legendary day in cricket history: Jim Laker's irreversible 10-wicket haul in a single Ashes innings—right after taking 9 wickets in the first! This feat, steeped in grit, persistence, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, is a masterclass for every entrepreneur.
Success isn't about one big win, but repeated, passionate efforts—sometimes imperceptible to the outside world.
Drawing inspiration from Laker’s tenacity, lets remind ourselves: greatness comes 2 those who show up, persist & keep believing long after odds seem insurmountable.
