NEET आणि Re-NEET परीक्षेत झालेल्या घोटाळ्याच्या विरोधात देशभरात विद्यार्थी आंदोलन करीत आहेत. या आंदोलना दरम्यान पोलीसांकडून महिलांना चुकीच्या पद्धतीने स्पर्श करणे त्यांचा विनयभंग करण्याचे प्रकार घडले आहे. यासंदर्भातील व्हिडीओ देखील उपलब्ध आहेत. नागाव (आसाम) , मुंबई आणि दिल्ली येथे अशा घटना घडल्या असून त्याचे व्हिडीओ उपलब्ध आहेत. ���िल्लीत तर डीसीपी दर्जाच्या एका अधिकाऱ्याने महिलांना मारहाण केल्याचे आढळून आले आहे. या घटना अतिशय संतापजनक आहेत. महिलांवर हात उचलण्याच्या आणि त्यांचा विनयभंग करण्याच्या घटना सरकारला मान्य आहेत का हा प्रश्न यानिमित्ताने उपस्थित होतो. केंद्��ीय महिला आयोगाने देखील या घटनांची तातडीने नोंद घेण्याची आवश्यकता आहे. या घटनांना जबाबदार असणाऱ्या प्रत्येकावर कठोरात कठोर कारवाई करण्यात यावी अशी आमची आग्रही मागणी आहे.

Students across the country have been protesting against the irregularities in the NEET and Re-NEET examinations. During these protests, serious allegations have emerged of women have complained of inappropriate physical contact and misconduct by police personnel. Videos of such incidents from Nagaon (Assam), Mumbai, and New Delhi are available in the public domain. In Delhi, even a DCP-rank police officer has allegedly been seen assaulting women protesters.

These incidents are deeply disturbing and unacceptable. The use of force against women and any act that violates their dignity raises serious questions about the government's commitment to protecting women's rights.

Also, The National Commission for Women must take immediate cognisance of these incidents. We strongly demand the strictest possible action against every individual found responsible.

When I went to meet Sonam Wangchuk, I had warned him and his team that the police would detain and imprison them for announcing the 20th July march.
