@moe99oilers @qauckenbush17 We all do and it’s every years the oilers slump at the beginning, but people forget it’s the NHL the best of the best he’s not an elite goalie but he’s gotten the oilers to back to back SCF it’s not just him but he’s still done stuff a lot of goalies can’t say the have done.

@chinookoil6 Agreed, we can’t depend on them playing the full last 20 mins of the 3rd. We need our 2nd/3rd lines to do more.

@chinookoil6 I will say, going into this I just didn’t have faith in the oilers in general. We looked sloppy leading up to the playoffs and after 4 nations. But we haven’t had a full roster on the ice for at least 2-3 weeks. Having this game get to where it was in the last 20. It’s do-able

@chinookoil6 But the thing I see as well. Skinner got us to the finals. Had only 2 goals against. A lot of people lose faith over a bad game or 2 but also forget where he got us in the past. The unfortunate thing people don’t get is, these are our goalies. We can’t change that.

@chinookoil6 And that is very true. When skinner was injured I noticed a lot less breakdowns and turnovers (it still happened with Bouchard and others) but less often. Oilers need to also play a full 60 mins not 20. We won’t get back to the finals if we don’t.

@chinookoil6 Every game are defensive breakdowns and too many turnovers. At least 2 of those goals we had too many luck chasers leaving wide open players in front of skinner. That last goal it was a fluke but yes that one should be saved. But I can’t even blame him when our d can’t defend.

@deanvince Just wondering, I understand defence is atrocious right now. But goaltending which ones do you blame on skinner? Our defence is leaving him out to dry and skinner is doing everything he can keeping this closer than it should be. I’d just like to hear your opinion on it.

@DavidFring55740 Yea and it happens to all goalies how many times has mcdavid scored from there. Bouchard and nurse just aren’t playing and it shows.
