A lot to talk about in regards to this LA sports fans topic. I lived there for 10 years (Sherman Oaks) and saw every team play multiple times except the MLS teams.
#Dodgers and #Lakers fans are a massive group. Millions more fans than most all markets. They are loyal and show up!
#Clippers have been possibly the worst franchise in professional sports history.
LA Kings fans are rock solid and love their team. USC football has deep traditions and many older fans. They have been down since Pete Carroll left.
UCLA has been down for a longtime with football but their hoops team can be very good when they dial in a good recruiting class.
The #Rams moved and came back to LA and have built something very special and their fan base is growing.
#Chargers have a tiny fan base and left so many fans in San Diego.
The Ducks and Angels are regional to Orange County.
I continue to remind everyone that the #Raiders still have more fans in LA than the Rams and Chargers combined. (Fact not Fiction).
Bottom line is that the beaches and great weather often win out when many fans have to make a sports and lifestyle decision.
Oh and traffic and the cost of tickets also play a roll.
