@Barneyslayer_ Even if it's well written, or at least given moment to actually develop.. I'd still hate it. It's NTR that retroactively ruins the far superior emotional bandwidth we typically explore. Imagine if Subaru told Beatrice I'll make you my #1 too in "choose me", it doesn't suffice.

@Didi69413294 Yeah, it's just kind of a humiliation thing having your soulmate boldly claim another. Having it turn into a point of conflict and not just an inevitably is likely where we are heading. Lots of unrequited love in the story. Would be lame if Subaru was just the exception.

@Grayson_is_real Winner takes all is really the only acceptable outcome for me. It is rather cruel to look at Emilia as only apart of someone's romantic interest and both Subaru and Rem acknowledged she could be convinced due to her naive nature. Hope she flips the board in a meaningful way.
