A Bengali woman carrying a British merchant on her back…
📸 This photo was taken in 1903, at the height of British colonialism in the Indian subcontinent. This isn't just a picture…
it's a slap in the face to all those who sing the praises of "Western civilization." This is the true face of colonialism, which they still try to beautify in history books.
It's slavery and the humiliation of human beings, the crushing of human dignity, simply because they don't belong to the white race! And then they ask you about terrorism…
The history of Western colonialism is full of massacres, slavery, plunder, and starvation… But they reduce terrorism to oppressed peoples struggling for their dignity! 🩸
The effects of what British colonialism did in India—the killing, starvation, plunder, and contempt for humanity—are still evident today. Millions
were killed, wealth was stolen, and generations were displaced… all under the banner of a false "enlightenment"!
Can’t imagine someone is defending a man caught urinating in a Delhi Metro lift that too in front of two girls by calling it hate and bigotry. Try defending this act by a senior citizen in London, Singapore, Dubai or any civilised city in the world & you’d get your answer! This act doesn’t need sensitivity and empathy it exposes lack of civic sense & disregard of public utility.
A joyous moment for every Indian!
Chola Copper Plates dating back to the 11th Century will be repatriated to India from the Netherlands. Took part in the ceremony for the same in the presence of Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
The Chola Copper Plates are a set of 21 large plates and 3 small plates and largely contain texts in Tamil, one of the most beautiful languages of the world. They relate to the great Rajendra Chola I formalising an oral commitment made by his father, King Rajaraja I. They also showcase the greatness of the Cholas. We in India are immensely proud of the Cholas, their culture and their maritime prowess.
I thank the Government of the Netherlands and Leiden University in particular, where the Copper Plates were kept since the mid-19th century.
@MinPres

@IS_Netwrk29 Hierarchy 🤷🏻♀️
If someone fails a year and repeats class.. should he / she made the topper the next year —- cos u know follow hierarchy 😅
Heartbreaking story, but this is exactly why reservation needs better targeting. Kids like Prachi, who lost their father & are struggling, truly deserve govt support...scholarships, free coaching, financial aid for orphans/extreme poor. Not the current system where even families earning 40-50 lakhs still get full benefits just because of category.
SC should rethink their decision so resources reach those who actually need it most. Govt should find the mechanism to bring out positive changes in its system, so that helpless kids like Prachi, gets maximum support.
Profound respect to her brother and her determination🫡
@BapuBommaSpeaks Absolute nonsense.. i am a South Indian and brides in my community DONT wear “White” / “off white” in combination with any color as a bride..
So stop generalising something to oppose another generalisation made!
