@DazzledxHyunjin Oh no, I'm so sorry that you had that experience. Events like that are meant to be inclusive and welcoming. I live in WY and it's hard enough to find others let alone connect with anybody. If you're ever in the state, hit me up 🫰
@caughtinalie_5 This is my first BTS concert and I am an overthinking over-preparer so I try to make sure every base I could come across is covered before the game has even started haha. Thank you so much. 🫰
Question for SE ARMY BOMB owners. I tried pairing up my SE with the app in concert mode but only says #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR Its not required to pair your lightstick. Does that change when you go to your concert day of? I've got day 3 Vegas tickets and wanna make sure it pairs.
To honor our queen No 29, the sacred bell that would have made her Hot 100 debut today but was disqualified due to being too short & having no sound 💔🔔.
ARMY, I need ur advice. I'm going to my 1st BTS concert in May & the last concert I went to was One Republic a friend took me to 5 yrs ago. The one before that was Linkin Park/Metallica in 2003. How does a BTS concert work? Lines? How early? I have no idea what I'm doing. Help🙏
@jimmyfallon@FallonTonight
Jimmy, first, thank you for the love and support you have shown @BTS_twt over the years. ARMY has always recognized that you have treated them with warmth, humor, and genuine respect, and that matters deeply to us.
That is exactly why this is so upsetting.
There are reports from ARMY who attended the secret taping that the MC @Thezog made offensive and racist remarks, including comments about which member could speak English and which one was “from North Korea.” If that is true, it is beyond inappropriate. It is humiliating, ignorant, and completely unacceptable.
BTS should never be handed over to people who treat them like a punchline. They have dealt with enough xenophobia and disrespect in the United States as it is. When they come into spaces connected to your show, we expect them to be protected, respected, and cared for by people who understand the weight of that responsibility.
To be clear, one person’s behavior does not automatically represent you or your entire team. I think that is important to say. We know, Mr. Fallon, you have consistently been a friend to BTS. But because we trust you, we also expect this to be addressed properly.
If these reports are accurate, then ARMY deserves a formal apology, and more importantly, BTS deserves one too, especially if they heard any of those remarks themselves. We would also expect that none of this footage or any related disrespect be included in tonight’s broadcast, and that this person no longer be used in this role, especially for BTS-related appearances.
There is also concern and confusion about how audience members were handled. People are saying some attendees may have been selected or removed unfairly, and others were allegedly left stranded. I cannot speak to what is fully true there, so I will not state rumor as fact, but I do believe clarification is needed. ARMY showed up in good faith and should be treated fairly and with care.
We are not asking for perfection. We are asking for accountability. We are asking for respect. And we are asking that the artists we love never feel small in a country that has too often failed to treat them with the dignity they deserve.
Because we trust you, we believe you will make this right not just for ARMY, but for BTS.
Thank you
