I think the big difference between these guys is mainly that one makes videos on stuff he actually wants to talk about and the other just makes content for content as a business. Pointless feels like, even if he does have staff working for him idk, just like a dude who legit owns all the transformers movies in 4k and watches them on a weekend. The other guy feels like he has someone else pick movies he's never heard of that they think will just make good content for the sake of content.

Like most of the time the complaints are the same "I don't understand why this happens, it's dumb, that's stupid" and any of his scripts could be placed in any review. Whilst pointless is "I know why it happens, I can explain it's context in the movie. Yes it's super dumb and that's why I love it so much"

A Russian indie developer says they may not be able to release their psychological horror game, The Lost File, in Russia because of how the country’s laws are being interpreted.

According to the developer, a government lawyer told them the game could not be released because of its horror themes, violence, gameplay, and overall atmosphere.
The developer says they offered to remove blood and other graphic content for a Russian version but were reportedly told it still would not be allowed because it is a horror game.

The developer also says they faced similar issues while studying at university and had to present the project as a “detective game” instead of a horror game.

Possible start to a trend, but not guaranteed. I would even go as far as to say it's not likely.

Some people said Snow White was proof of live action fatigue, but that was a unique situation as its marketing was actively working against it. Lilo and Stitch came along and proved those people wrong.

This too may be a unique situation since Moana is less than a decade old and its sequel is even younger, thus no one has nostalgia for it. The kids who grew up with Moana don't have families of their own yet, so the usual pander strategy has very few people to target.

Also, Toy Story 5 and Minions are still in theaters, along with those summer dollar deals some theaters have specifically for family films.

There are a lot of reasons this particular live action remake could fail that don't necessarily mean Disney live action remakes are no longer profitable.
