He chooses to go down 3 external steps with his zimmer frame, to walk across gravel to the garage to swap to a 4 wheeled walker and do several laps of the driveway daily too. Very proud of my Dad. Never too old for rehab

When I met Stephen Smith, he had been denied benefits for 2 years and declared fit for work despite weighing just 6 stone and being unable to walk 20 metres

He died before the money he was wrongly denied was paid back to him after an appeal

And yet here we go again…

@DeanEggitt I think some patients are better at giving a clear account of their condition than others, but it is 100% our responsibility to elicit all the relevant information that we need..lots of scrolling through their records/speaking (with consent) to relatives etc

@cm_bagot @GardenBrocante Cosmos, cornflowers, ammi-major, strawflowers all annuals, easy to grow from seed and produce more flowers the more you cut. Alchemilla mollis for "filler". Dahlias for late summer flowers. Also look at "perennial cutting plants" for less effort.
