Don't roll your eyes when your child picks Captain Underpants. Don't limit kids to books only in their recommended reading level. All about the importance of letting children choose their own reading material in our latest post: https://t.co/InhTMiQt9K
@JimIrsay I fell for a scam and spent gobs of money trying to make dreams come true. Sadly, the detective at the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office was not able to track down the scammer. I’m using my bad experience for good and am now organizing a free seminar on how to avoid scams!
This is such a fun mystery for upper elementary and middle schoolers! @kristinlgray incorporates lots of cool historical details about the life of Amelia Earhart while readers figure out whodunnit! 📚✈️👩🏻✈️🕵🏻 #kidlit
Both books I read this weekend involved the main characters learning to cook salmon…nearly 100 years apart!
P.S. I fell in love with both books. Thank you @AlysonGerber and Carole Estby Dagg!
Music lovers, this one’s for you! We ❤️ all things Penelope T. Rex, especially as she musters up the courage to live her true rock n’ roll best life. #bookaday
Fantasy fans! This is not a favorite genre in my house, but its fun to get outside our usual habits sometimes. I’m only a few chapters in and I’ve already met a magical cat, Michelangelo, and Raphael, and doing some time hopping between present day NYC and Ancient Rome. #bookaday
With many kids around us going back to school, there will undoubtedly be an uptick in cases of the what ifs, making this picture book fitting for any age (teachers included)! #bookaday
A blind date with a book must certainly be better than the blind dates we’ve been on!
Check out a few books from the library, wrap them up, then write a few clues from the summary on a post-it note for the front.
Maybe your kids will find (book) love!

“If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Pilgrims, of course!” Our 4th grader is already cracking jokes from this book by @KateMessner. He loves that these books shatter the myths that many of us have learned from famous historical events. #bookaday
