कई बार सांसद रह चुके एक वरिष्ठ राजनेता ने अभी-अभी अपने क्षेत्र से एक पढ़े-लिखे नागरिक की बिजली विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के साथ हुई बातचीत का ऑडियों निम्नांकित लिखकर मुझे कार्यवाही करने के लिए भेजा है।

यही बात मैंने तीन दिन पहले UPPCL के चेयरमैन, MD और अन्य अधिकारियों को कहा था।

कड़े शब्दों में यह भी कहा था कि 1912 की टोल फ्री व्यवस्था या अन्य टेक्नोलॉजी आधारित व्यवस्था मानवीय व्यवस्था की पूरक हो सकती है; विकल्प नहीं।

मैंने कहा था कि ऐसे कई ग़लत, असामयिक और अव्यवहारिक निर्देशों के कारण जनता ���ो परेशानी हो रही है। अधिकारी फ़ोन उठाना बिल्कुल ही बंद कर दिए हैं। तितलौकी थी ही, अब नीम पर चढ़ गई। और अनेक ऐसे ग़लत निर्णय हमारे बार-बार ��िखित/ मौखिक रूप से मना करने के बावजूद हुए हैं।

सबने मीटिंग में मुझसे असत्य बोला कि 1912 पर ही शिकायत करने के लिए कोई निर्देश नहीं दिया गया है।

मुझे उनकी इस बात पर विश्वास नहीं हुआ।मैंने कई बार पूछा। हर बार वही असत्य सुनने को मिला।

वास्तविकता आप स्वयं सुनिए…

बिजली के अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों को एक बार पुनः कह रहा हूँ कि जनता के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी समझें। उनसे त्वरित और उचित भाषा में संवा�� करें और समस्या का निराकरण करें।

अन्यथा परिणाम भयंकर होंगे।

अधीक्षण अभियंता बस्ती को काल करने पर उन्होंने जिस तरीके से बात की उसको सुनकर आप स्वयं जान जाएंगे कि public grievance के प्रति ये कितने संवेदनहीन हैं तथा इनके अपने संबंधों से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि सरकार की छवि जानबूझ कर खराब करने में लगे हुए है । बातचीत की रिकॉर्डिंग नीचे इस प्रकार है।
