Luckily, the guy died in an accident but the girl was framed in a fake murder case. Even police initially said that there was not foul play but ONLY because of social pressure from the parents, the police had to fabricate a fake case through a forced confession (which is NOT admissible in a court of law).

It is such a tragedy that in India, a person who is falsely accused of a crime, cannot file a case against the person who falsely accused him under laws meant to punish false accusers once he is declared innocent

It is only courts or police which can initiate proceedings under these laws and they rarely ever do

Advocate @AshwiniUpadhyay has filed a PIL regarding this in Supreme Court and notice has been issued

I really hope we see a fruitful outcome of this PIL.

i wish, when her own male family member will suffer then she might understand the situation. If 90%+ cases are fake, then yes this goes without saying that whenever a girl file cases, there is 90% chance that will be another fake case.
