@ikamalhaasan@ShashiTharoor the proposed homemaker salary is an interesting idea, but don't you think there's an inherent danger that this is going to be used as a weapon to enforce patriarchy and misogyny in households even further?
It's kinda funny how despite the evident sexism in Mukesh Khanna's words, he effectively managed to sum up that without women in charge, everything is fucked. That we need women to guide us from the beginning stages of our life, if that job is left to men, everyone's fucked.
When a government actively encourages patriotism, the critical minds need to start worrying. It's often the first clue when the government has failed in it's duty. CAA, Kashmir lockdown, Ram mandir- occasions when they quoted patriotism. Connect the dots.
WTF? Two girls attacked in a BJP ruled state, and the best the MLAs can say is teach your girls values? @BJP4India@narendramodi is this the India you're building? @BJP4India , you've created a whole new low.
Already lost secularism. Women lost freedom. What's next?
@mkatju It implies the perpetrator wasn't acting out of a choice. Well, raping someone always is a conscious and deliberate choice. Don't you dare say it was an act of urgency. When you do, you ARE justifying it.
Apologize, to every rape victim out there.
(1/6) @mkatju Just one question. Do you read what you've written before you post them or are you just plain stupid?
Citing reasons why increase in rapes is a natural consequence might not be justifying rape, but it sure as hell isn't condemning it.
@mkatju In case you still don't get it, let me lay it out for you.
Sex isn't a powerful urge. Hunger is, breathing is, not sex. It is something we can live without. Saying that rape happens because of some powerful urge is justifying it.
Covid cases right now- 6.3 million.
Indian govt.- Hmm, that's low. You know what, let's open the schools. It's just kids, what could possibly go wrong? While we're doing that, let's open up the movie theaters as well.
What's life without entertainment?
Idiots, the lot of them.
@narendramodi@AmitShah@PMOIndia That was one hell of an acting. Here's an oscar, now please resign.
Your last speech proved the following, spectacularly.
1. You can't be trusted, and your fellow leaders can't be trusted either.
(2)
2. Your election manifesto was fiction at it's best.
3. You really believe that us common folks are stupid, ignorant, and will swallow every pill you spit out. Sorry, some of us were raised to have an iota of common sense.
World's largest democracy ruled by world's biggest hypocrite. Atleast he's big on something, certainly not his values.
#IndiaAgainstCAA_NRC#IndiaAgainstModi
@PMOIndia@narendramodi@AmitShah
Regarding the CAA and NRC, you're asking the same people who voted you into power,to prove they had the right to do that. You're making the same people whom you swore to serve and protect feel unsafe and threatened in their own country.
8. to perpetuate more lies, you'd have failed this country and it's people, and moreover, everything and every value this country was built upon. This is a democracy still. And people hold the higher power. Maybe, in all these frenzy and panic, they might forget for a short time.
