Damulira John (aged 50) was abducted from his shop by heavily armed military personnel on 21st Nov, 2020. Six people he was taken with were dumped in the bush after extreme torture. To date, Damulira's whereabouts are unknown! The regime ignored the court order for his release.

Last night a fire outbreak destroyed homes and properties of over 200 residents of Kamwokya, and left several people dead or injured. This morning I passed on a message of support to area leaders. @NUP_Ug has delivered relief to victims. We encourage other leaders to follow suit

Our legal team secured orders for their unconditional release several months back, they were ignored! Over 350 supporters are still missing. Thousands are in prisons. These are crimes against humanity which Gen. Museveni and his criminal enforcers will have to account for.

Unbelievable! Eight months and the scars visible, some wounds fresh. They speak of how soldiers beat them up, cut their bodies, placed burning cigarettes on their private parts, and injected them with unknown substances. All this while, their arms were tied to the back.

Here are comrades Matovu Denis (21), Sonko Richard (25) and Turyatunga Bruce (36). Nakibuuka Soloome (44) is Matovu & Sonko's mother- gone through hell looking for her sons. They were abducted on 8th December last year, held incommunicado, severely tortured, until yesterday.

Shakira was the mother of a newborn baby. Shamim was pregnant with triplets.

Both women survived. The triplets did not. #UgandaIsBleeding
