Mental Health Week - Today we played a match game to learn more about the different ways people show their feelings (and we arranged our cards in arrays, so it was Math, too 😉). @StMariaGorett
How do structural engineers show off? They “strut their stuff”! Together with Mrs. Blanas’s Grade 3’s we had “loads” of fun and did so much good learning today with our Scientist in School! @StMariaGorett
Coding! No - Dance! Wait…it’s both!! We posted our Coded Choreography around the school to challenge students to read the code in order to perform the dance. @PearsonMatholo1@StMariaGorett
We had so much fun preparing this persuasive paragraph and presenting it to Mr. Kenny! It was a great challenge, we learnt a lot, and we really got Mr. Kenny thinking about our mascot! We’re very persuasive! @StMariaGorett
Thank you so much to Sewing Studio for the opportunity to learn a new skill and discover fresh interests and talents. We had “SEW” much fun and your jokes had us in “stitches”. @StMariaGorett
I welcomed many “guests” on Come As a Character Day. Saw a dental exam, & a dancer & an artist creating. Got athlete autographs, & healthy eating tips from a nurse. Met a Canadian actor, many teachers, and many more outstanding leaders. The chef kept her secrets! @StMariaGorett
We had a beautiful celebration of Mary today. We created a Living Rosary. It was very special to see our students build the Rosary together, bead by bead, and to form the Rosary as one congregation. Thanks to @ms_oliveira18@MandaricMrs & Mr. Villanueva @StMariaGorett
When you teach your class melodic contour, and then one day they spontaneously demonstrate it during the anthem - it’s a great day. Awesome stuff, Musicians! @StMariaGorett
