If I wanted to maintain my current standard of living, but in Nigeria, it would cost too much to be realistic.
Nigerian prices are way too expensive in USD terms despite having such a devalued currency, and I don't understand how everyone is quiet.
That country is stupidly expensive for no reason at all🤷🏾
🚨BREAKING: Didier Drogba says if the USA didn't want other Countries citizens in the US they shouldn't have bid for the Fifa world cup 2026 and says denial of Iran supporters and Somali referee Omar Artan is totally unacceptable, Football should be separated from politics
"When a country bids to host the biggest football tournament on the planet, it knows exactly what comes with it. Players, referees, officials and supporters from every corner of the world are part of the package."
"I look at the situation involving Somali referee Omar Artan and I feel disappointed for him. FIFA selected him because he earned that opportunity on merit, yet he was unable to participate after being denied entry."
"Then you hear about Iran's football federation claiming that its supporter ticket allocation was withdrawn just days before the tournament. If true, that leaves ordinary fans paying the price for issues that have nothing to do with football."
"The people suffering are not politicians. They're supporters who save money for years hoping to follow their national team at a World Cup."
"Football has always been one of the few things capable of bringing different cultures together. The moment politics starts deciding who gets to be part of that experience, everyone loses."
"I played in World Cups and international tournaments. The beauty of those events is seeing supporters from dozens of countries sharing the same streets, the same stadiums and the same passion."
"No fan should be judged because of their nationality, and no referee should miss the biggest moment of his career because of political circumstances beyond his control."
"FIFA, governments and football authorities need to find solutions because the headlines right now are about visas, travel restrictions and disputes instead of the football itself."
"The World Cup should belong to the world. That's what makes it special. The game must always come first, and politics should never be allowed to overshadow football's greatest celebration."
This Burnley-Everton legal dispute is insane.
Burnley basically argued that they were relegated because Everton breached FFP.
Imagine what clubs could do against Manchester City and Chelsea now.
Everton are due to pay Burnley £40m.
This is a landmark Premier League moment.
Ifeyinwa Okwudo has now been expelled from Ezzy College of Nursing, Enugu.
She was the woman who indefinitely suspended Joy Ezeugwu for exposing the dilapidated state of Uwani Health Center, Enugu.
She also recently slapped a 9-months pregnant student three times.
To those of you oppressing our students: it’s only a matter of time before we shine our light on you.
@osasuo Very insulating indeed . And coming from so-called civilised elements occupying the apex post of a globally-binding sporting event for the beautiful game?!
This response is extremely disrespectful to Referee Omar Artan, #Somalia, and the entire continent of #Africa, who have all been insulted and humiliated.
BREAKING: Federal Government to immortalise Stephen Keshi.

Portugal vs #Nigeria pre match presser
Wilfred Ndidi: “Last time we played against Portugal it was a difficult game and we lost. But we have a different mindset, group & manager now.
Eric Chelle: “We face a World Cup-bound team capable of winning the tournament.”
Hi darling @ToniKroos
You spent months criticizing Qatar and talking about every possible issue before and during the 2022 World Cup, yet it turned out to be one of the best-organized tournaments in history. Public transportation was free, fans could travel easily between stadiums some fans saw 4 matches in the stadium in same day, and the overall organization was praised by millions of visitors.
Now, when concerns are being raised about visa delays, strict entry procedures, and travel difficulties surrounding tournaments in the United States, we don't hear the same level of criticism from you. There have also been complaints about organizational decisions and match arrangements that many fans consider unnecessary or difficult, yet your voice is nowhere near as loud as it was when Qatar hosted the World Cup.
If your criticism is truly based on principles, then the same standards should apply to everyone. But when Qatar receives endless criticism while similar concerns elsewhere are met with silence, people are naturally going to question whether your issue was really about organization at all.
Fuck you.
Can you all see how CAF left their Best Referee out in the cold. No support, no statement, absolutely NOTHING. We all know the reason. When Infantino asks Motsepe to jump, Mr Sundowns just has to ask How High Oga?
How come it is cheaper to catch fish in China, freeze it in China, transport it frozen down to Lagos, Nigeria, clear it frozen, truck it frozen to Onitsha, truck it frozen to Ikot Ekpene ---
than to catch it it Oron and sell it in Ikot Ekpene?
🚨World Cup: Terem Moffi makes painful Super Eagles confession
🗣️“I'm 27 now, in the next World Cup I'll be 31, and most of the squad will be in their 30's as well. It's almost impossible for us to be there if we're being totally honest…
“For some of us, we might have to watch from home. How do we tell our children that we had two chances to be at the World Cup and we didn't take it?
“It's horrible to think about.”.

🗣️ Roy Keane:
“Look at how many Arsenal players have were selected for the World Cup. That tells you everything about the quality of this squad.
When nearly half your team is representing their countries on the biggest stage, you’re doing something right. Arsenal are not a team you can underestimate anymore.
They’ve won the Premier League, reached a Champions League final, and built a squad full of top international players.
If Arsenal recruit seriously this summer, the rest of the football world might not like what comes next season.
People spend a lot of time hate-watching Arsenal. If this team keeps improving, that might become a waste of time.” 😳🔴⚪️
