@AJBlack247 It makes sense. He was great with people and that industry is all about who do you know and not so much how you coach. His connection with Lafleur has been monumental for his career. Matt saved him from the chopping block, but not only saved him, gave him a huge promotion.
@Money23Green@MarcJSpears Why no explanation on the sucker punch? Why not have some class and tell him to square up for a fair fight.? A sucker punch is the cowards play.
@domthepatsfan Well if you look into that year with more detail, we had the #1 ranked defense. We had the #1 easiest schedule. So Josh’s job was pretty easy. But the schedule got harder, we finished that year 1-4. Mac was AWFUL with a 53% completion percentage.
@barstoolsports@BarstoolPhilly I respect the fact he didn’t throw a Philly sucker punch and even advised them to team up against him before he made his move. A true gentleman.
@stoolpresidente But the cherry on top is the next year when the team lacked so much talent and he goes and drafts a guard in the 1st rd. Not just any but one projected to go in the late 3rd rd.
He then drafts Tyquan Thornton in the 2nd rd DIRECTLY before Pickens and Pierce.
@BarstoolBigCat I’m looking at the Top 9 draft picks from this most recent year and Caleb and Rome were outperformed by the other 7. What does that say about your organization to pick the worst 2 players in the top 10?
@on3@_dylanlonergan@petenakos@TyLockwood7 Lonergan and Lockwood in that advanced NFL offense would both crush it. You can’t think of a better offensive scheme for them. BOBs scheme was used for Brady and Gronk in 2011 when Gronk set the all time touchdown record for TEs. BOB left the next year for the Texans
@AJBlack247 Wowzers with a redshirt year ? So 6 years? Plus Juco years don’t count? So possibly 8 years? The NCAA is going all out to protect its status as the farm system to the NFL. And Lowkey I like it.
@beaconstball I don’t fault him for all his players leaving for $$$ his administration wouldn’t give out, nothing you can do, but golly, please develop these recruits like Payne, Toews, Hastings, etc. These transfers are awful.
@BookofBC @EarlGrantBC Earl refuses to play some of these younger kids too. Luka Toews has much more potential than Chas Kelley or Dion Brown. He’s stunting their growth. Develop Fred Payne. Develop Toews, Think long term Earl.
@Hayesfawcett3@TyLockwood7@on3 It only makes sense for him to go and play for Bill O’Brien. He runs a pro style offense that features the tight end position like no other. They had two TEs catch 30 balls EACH this year. Ty Lockwood would be a star like Zay Flowers. Him and Longergan will chew up the ACC.
@ChrisTrapasso@CBSSports You lose respect from your following when you give Bryce Young and Jayden Daniels the same grade for the season. Even the most casual fan can recognize the difference in play. Stop trying to act smarter than everyone else.
