The prosecutor just revealed this info in court as Karmelo's team pushes to get a re-trial. A "gentleman's agreement" was in place to keep this out of the original trial.

Thank you, @Matt_Calkins . I was one of the female athletes you interviewed, and I truly appreciate the way you treated me. You were fair, listened to my story without judgment, and wanted to share my experience—even when the @seattletimes refused to let it be heard.

@seattletimes deserves to be called out. It has become a left-wing rag that suppresses stories and viewpoints that challenge its preferred political narrative. Even at 17, I can see eerie similarities to what we’ve learned in history class about communism, censorship, and the control of information.

To think that a 17-year-old female athlete and her story could be considered a threat to a powerful media machine like The Seattle Times shows that we have them against the ropes. We need to keep punching.

New evidence coming out surrounding the Karmelo Anthony case, including the disturbing text prosecutors say they found on his phone that could be fair game if he gets a new trial.

Prosecutors say the message was part of a documented pattern involving an obsession with knives and guns and a desire to start fights. They argue the evidence helps explain why Anthony brought a knife to the track meet where he fatally stabbed Austin Metcalf.

Jurors never heard it because both sides had an off-the-record "gentleman's agreement" to keep character evidence out of the courtroom and focus on what happened under the tent that day.
