A CAT scraper we've sold on behalf of Uniper's Ratcliffe Power Station was recently loaded onto a vehicle at our facility and transported offsite, ready for a new lease of life.

We're delighted to see that a boat we refurbished and rehomed to the @vinetrust (for the MoD) has finally arrived in Mwanza, Tanzania. There, it will provide critical healthcare services for isolated communities on Lake Victoria.

Our Lily had a brilliant day at the @BBC's Salford Day yesterday!

She spent the afternoon talking to BBC teams about how Ramco helps give surplus assets new life - in turn clearing space, generating a financial return, and promoting reuse.

She even got to meet Pudsey, too! 😊

And now, we've made the next step by purchasing our own electric vehicle, too 🔌

But not only that - rather than getting a brand-new vehicle, we purchased one used from one of our clients - it's a win-win!

We're pretty pleased with how it looks, too 😍

Adopting EV and reuse, all in one ✅

Recognising the importance of EVs in the UK's journey to net zero, we installed EV charging points in our car park a few years back - offering visitors and staff members a place to recharge.

Now, as the plant begins its planned two-year decommissioning process, Ramco's helping Uniper reuse a range of surplus equipment from the vast site, including two mammoth CAT scraper tractors and a Liebherr R966 excavator - some of the first assets identified for reuse!
