What does“ MIRAYS “ mean?

MIRAYS
(pronunciation 'mi-reys'): This name uses a sun imagery, suggesting the fans are a source of light and support for Rami (Rami's Rays).

Originally first introduced 2024.03.04 through a servey personally asking Monstiez about what Rami fandom name should be. A fandom name isn't owned or discarded by a few selective fanbases, it belongs to the collective community that actively uses it to show love and support for Rami. Until officially Rami herself state otherwise, MIRAYS remains a cherished symbol of our unity, passion, and light. No behind-the-scenes decision can erase the history and dedication of the fans who proudly stand as her rays for more than 2 years now but only selective would really understand the true meaning! ☀️✨

Combining "Rami" with "Rays," it reflects the warmth, brightness, and positive energy that flow both ways between Rami and her supporters. Just as sun rays bring light to the darkest days, MIRAYS represents our commitment to being an unwavering source of warmth, encouragement, and illumination throughout her career. It is more than just a title—it is a promise to shine alongside her every step of the way!

We all have our moments, there isn’t a perfect fandom but that’s what makes it more unique and stands out in a field of perfect ones. We could always be better people when going through our daily lives or just hopping online to see the newest things. We truly hope those affected negatively find peace within themselves and moves on with a better mindset. Those who hold on to things that make them uneasy should also just let go and focus on their own growth and learn to be happy. No one needs other peoples approval for their actions and our personal opinions is what makes us human. Let’s be humans before anything else.

What makes us even more upset is that the footage is from when Rami was hospitalised with pneumothorax.

From cropping her out of music videos, restricting members from mentioning her, and removing her name from celebration cakes, to refusing to provide transparent updates. There has been a clear pattern of unfair treatment. 

Most recently in the Kyocera Dome vlog, footage was formatted to exclude her, presenting an OT6 narrative. We demand YG Entertainment acknowledge that the success of BABYMONSTER is built on the hard work, dedication, and shared dreams of ALL 7 members, including Rami. 
We request clear communication, fair treatment, and proper recognition for Rami moving forward.

We have noticed a lot of frustration and distress within the fandom recently. As a fanbase team that has navigated similar challenges, we truly understand how difficult it feels to be unheard or dismissed. We wanted to share how we managed to keep going and rebuild Rami Global. While we initially preferred to leave past events behind us, seeing fellow Mirays struggle has prompted us to share a glimpse of our journey in the hope of offering encouragement.

Rebuilding our platform was not easy. There was a point when our team felt overwhelmed, frustrated, and deeply disheartened by the situation surrounding Rami and the decisions made by the label. In the past, our account’s reputation suffered significant damage when a former team member voiced personal frustrations directly through our official page regarding missed opportunities for Rami. This resulted in misunderstandings and ungrounded allegations that our team harbored negativity toward other members. We want to be clear: our team has never supported, encouraged, or directed hate toward any of the girls. While there is far more context to that period than was publicly shared, it ultimately led to our departure from the union and forced us to forge our own path independently.

Hitting rock bottom became the turning point for our renewal. Rather than reacting out of anger, our team stepped back to prioritize our mental health, rebuild trust within our team, and regain our focus. We realized that allowing online toxicity to dictate our emotional state was harmful. By focusing on personal growth and our shared dedication to Rami, we returned stronger, more organized, and fully committed. Today, our engagement has recovered, our platform is active, and most importantly, we have found peace in how we operate. Despite ongoing rumors and mischaracterizations from certain individuals, our resolve remains firm. We choose not to engage in negativity. Our priority continues to be supporting Rami while maintaining a healthy balance in our personal lives.

We hope our experience serves as a gentle reminder to anyone currently feeling overwhelmed:
Prioritize Your Well-being: Your mental health is far more important than any online conflict or debate. It is not worth sacrificing your peace.
Take Time if Needed: If you need to step away from social media or take a temporary break from fandom spaces, please know that it is completely valid to do so.
Protect the Group: The members are genuinely kind individuals who deserve love and support, not toxicity or targeted hate.

Better days always follow difficult times, even when it feels unexpected. Thank you for your continued support, and let us keep focusing our energy on uplifting Rami.

The recent circulating claim that Ahyeon sang "Happy Birthday" to Rami has been proven false and taken out of context. In reality, Ahyeon was quietly singing to a fan holding a birthday sign. Due to lack of context and insufficient fact-checking, this moment was misinterpreted, leading to rumors.

Additionally, the sign regarding the hand countdown and "Happy Birthday Rami" was part of a fan-led initiative organized to coordinate a group chant.

We understand the collective frustration and shared desire for updates; however, we strongly advise against overanalyzing or misinterpreting the members' gestures and projecting unmet expectations onto them.
