I haven’t been super active on wctwt but I’m brainstorming a possible brightheart map idea… I know there’s interest in beginner friendly projects so I think I’d open it to anybody with less than 5k subs on yt and it would be pmv favoured over animation 🤔 any interest?

@fawnlingstars I think it has changed a little bit in the past couple years, I’m seeing people get more ambitious with their first projects and it’s awesome but I still have the same conversation about it every couple months

@fawnlingstars I have a discord server where I share my wips and a lot of people ask me for advice about my process which often leads to this discussion and I’ve heard a lot of artists say they think they have to wait to get an audience in the map community before trying solo projects

@fawnlingstars Encourage people to give their solo ideas a try, longer projects are better for the algorithm and it adds examples to the portfolio without waiting around for someone to give them permission to start, that way they can get into even more maps if that’s what they want to do
