Better health for all. #AHRQ-funded engineer & public health prof. Human factors systems design & implementation science #ImpSci
Developing low burden tools to measure engagement(also other things) is so needed. Theory definitely helps to develop these tools. PACE is a good example as presented by Reid Parks and @ramlyed#SIRC24
The field of #ImpSci & #ImpPractice just got a major boost! A review of user feedback on the Behaviour Change Techniques (BCT) Taxonomy has been conducted to build cumulative evidence & improve the taxonomy.

It was a pleasure to speak at @IU_HWD about better health for all through #design and #implementation for #systems change. Humbled to receive this award
Engineers and scientists unite for better health as we welcome @ramlyed to @IU_HWD at @IUSPH, receiving a Distinguished Speaker award from our own Professor @werner_ne. Dr. Ramly discusses "Implementing Better Health for All"
Edmond Ramly, PhD is a health systems engineer on faculty in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His work improves healthcare processes and quality in non-acute settings through Implementation Science and Human Factors.
How in the world do we choose #impsci frameworks?

And yes
This work is hard sometimes
& exhausting
but a river of awesome runs through it
It does
No, not in the "like totally" way
but in the way that evokes a real, true feeling
of wonder & magic
And still
after all this time
I am in awe
Still, I am.

Join us in-person for the first time in two years for #DIScience22!
This year's conference theme is "(Re)Building Better Systems: Being Proactive, Nimble, and Responsive." Register today for the 15th anniversary event: https://t.co/PSdfqO2TRo
#DIScience22 abstract notifications are out! I can't wait to see folks in a few months! FWIW, if your abstract wasn't accepted or you got a poster instead of a presentation-- I'm sorry. It's not a reflection on you & your science still has value! #impsci@AcademyHealth
We absolutely agree with @KatieBurkTweets's @implementEIC article about getting serious about building #implementation capacity.
She highlights the core competencies needed for implementation support practitioners!

Listen to your users. Every single one of us - people or orgs - has users. You are creating or shaping services and products - intentionally or not - and others use them. Are they getting what they need and want? Find out. Adapt. Listen again.
Great stuff, @Aaron_Lyon, here are intersections with #HumanFactors I mentioned, where #HCD is #Systems-oriented, including redesigning any element of the work system and their interrelations. https://t.co/VmDR5fDeep
