KAT might be a great offensive player but he gives it ALL back on defense!

EVERY coach he has ever had has tried to get him to commit defensively and they all failed.

He came into this season looking out of shape when the Knicks are the consensus best team in the east this year. You’d think he’d put in a bit more effort in the off season to lose some weight and come prepared to try and win it all.

Not only is his lack of defense a liability but his basketball IQ
isn’t far behind! How many times have we seen go up for a lay up and be denied and then make a dumbass foul because he doesn’t want to move his feet or run back on a fast break, OR ALL the missed defensive lapses.

Last night he played against Giannis and Giannis schooled his ass! KAT who knows he’s name has been involved in numerous trade talks for Giannis couldn’t show some pride and step up when it mattered.

He’s just not that dude and
I’m tired of all these mothafuckas defending him.

he’s hurt, too early too worry,
Etc etc. ) Well I worried the moment we traded for him!!!

Yes Randle wasn’t a good fit but I have no doubt we make the conference finals with Randle too!

Everyone saying let’s not trade for Giannis is truly insane.

You have the chance to get arguably the best player in the league (Wemby is quickly closing in!) who’s a two way generational player who’s still in his prime….AND WANTS TO COME TO NEW YORK WITH ALL THE DAME PRESSURE,

Poker thoughts.
So many issues here…

I’ve seen the entire stream and multiple problems from players and @WSOP rulings against players and absolutely no rulings against similar infractions.

Other players are tanking for 6 minutes for pay jumps and entire table colludes with tanking player and @WSOP says and does nothing.
Big problem here!

At Kassouf’s table same guy kept calling clock on him after 10 seconds when he had a 30 second shot clock at the time.
Meanwhile other players would tank for 2 minutes.
I understand he was on a short leash for previous infractions BUT the rules should be the same across the board for EVERYONE.

WSOP has a leadership problem and needs to educate its staff on how to talk to players. We spend a lot of money on these Buy-ins and they talk to you like you’re a teenager in a juvenile detention center. That’s a big problem!

WSOP and poker in general need eyeballs. They need people to watch their product and they can’t have it both ways. MEANING, they can’t penalize Kassouf and then have him featured on every damn stream, clip and article to promote its business.
They know he brings eyeballs and he’s polarizing and they use that to their advantage in selling their product.

Most poker players have zero personality and that’s why it’s hard to sell their product to mainstream audiences. Besides the fact they don’t have enough women playing poker or even interested in poker.

As an actor and avid poker player I see selling the game completely different than the average poker pro who wants to quietly play with zero distractions and covered up completely from head to toe.

Well that doesn’t work.
To promote the game you need personalities and stories. Players like @RealKidPoker @phil_hellmuth and @martinkabrhell to name a few have it in spades.

Yes, Kassouf is annoying AF.
Yes, Kassouf is entertaining.
Both things can be true.

I love this and have gravitated towards this thinking since I was a kid. I grew up on welfare in the South Bronx and there were days that I had no money to eat and I’d find a $20 dollar bill on the street. How do I explain that?? This happened many times! Was it because I was looking for money on the street or was it something that I was emitting energy wise that allowed me to attract/find the solution to my problem??

This wasn’t a one off this happened many times not just with money but with people and opportunities that showed up when I needed them or the situation to happen.

I don’t understand why anyone would have a problem with your philosophy on randomness.

Even “The Placebo Effect” has been proven to work if the person genuinely believes in the treatment.

We all know the problem even if you don’t want to say it out loud. KAT makes $50 mill to be 2nd option and he is vastly over paid for his production.

He plays absolutely ZERO DEFENSE and is inconsistent offensively. Brunson truly needs a 2nd option or we get Giannis and Brunson becomes a great 2nd option.

2nd problem is Mikal Bridges.
He was a massive over pay and has not lived up to the price tag.

I say everyone other than Brunson is on the table to be traded. Our goal is a championship. I’m not saying blow up the team but we definitely need an upgrade at center/power forward defensively AND a true 2nd option. Obviously Giannis would be the perfect fit whether that happens or not.

A package of KAT or OG or KAT and bridges and we also get a 3rd team in the mix to get some more pieces back for Giannis.

AND LASTLY…
Josh hart who’s my favorite Knick has to get better offensively. He shot 40% from 3 in the playoffs but has to pull the trigger more. If I’m him in the off season, I take 1,000 threes everyday and strengthen his weakness.
Shoe up that whole.

These aren’t massive fixes this can all happen. Even if we don’t get Gianni’s. There’s maybe KD for KAT and we try to get Walker Kessler from Utah.

Mikal or OG
Josh Hart
Kevin Durant
Walker Kessler
This already is a better team defensively and offensively.

Obviously Mitch will be traded along with KAT and either OG or Bridges.

Just saying, we will have options in the off season to make our team better.

I was devastated when we beat the 1993 Jordan Bulls in the first 2 games of the ECF when he was gambling in Atlantic City after games AND THEN they beat us in 6 because Charles fucking Smith couldn’t make ONE of the 4 put backs he had in that game right under the basket to go to game 7 at the garden.

I bring this up because these new fans haven’t put in the time or the pain to bitch about these Knicks being down 2.

If any team can comeback it’s this one! BELIEVE!!!
