Class 1 have had a wonderful day at Cleethorpes. We investigated types of seashells and the children loved working together to create models in the sand. Have a look at some of our interesting finds.

We went into the river! River dipping means wet feet. We explored the river bed, how fast the river flows and measured the river at different parts to show the shape of it.

Class 2 have been making art sculptures representing a river. The children had to make sure they used key vocabulary when describing their sculpture.

Class 2 have been observing features of plants/leaves to be able to classify them.

Today, Class 2 have carefully observed and dissected an invertebrate and a vertebrate. What amazing scientists!
