@MyPepeAccount His channel is what immediately came to mind for me when I saw that post, he was the greatest creator to ever grace the platform. His content is one of the only things to ever make me want to "go outside."
So where are we gonna go when X implodes? We need to figure this out soon because if I lose access to the parasocial relationships I have with all of you I'm going to be lonely :,(
I can't. It is evidently not there. If there is any longing in the general society its mostly about food and women. And it has never been any different.
@scriabingroyper Modern Minecraft is no different than old Minecraft except that it has 100s of new blocks, biomes, mobs, etc. Which is a good thing imo. Maybe the only “bad” change was the combat update ~10 years ago, although I like it because the sweeping edge effect makes xp grinders better.
@Emptier_America I’ll take your word that takethiamine has legitimate scientific disagreements with BJ, but his response to me was about how BJ’s work is too “left-hemisphere-centric”, which would imply that he thinks BJ is too reliant on analysis and data rather than right hemisphere and “vibes”
His biomarkers are objectively better than 99% of people his age thanks to his regimen. Your real problem with him is revealed here in the below photo-you don’t like the “vibes” of what he’s trying to do because it goes against the crackpot “health” philosophy of ray peat.
@Rand90017@LaiosGroyper It’s not a normie trait to dislike the guy who’s always wrong. His entire model for health is inverted. He has a team of left-hemisphere-dominant nerds feeding him poorly interpreted info and often has to walk things back quietly, months later.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “He’ll probably end up dying in a car crash or something” both online and irl, it’s like normies’ minds are wired to produce only one response. Yeah alright “don’t wear a seatbelt because you might die in a car crash anyway.”
@Uy1325797462214 Yeah basically, and it worked on my 16 year old self lol. I’m looking through these and they’re so fucking corny idk what was wrong with me back then.
Otherwise rational people can be whipped into an almost religious anger if you dare imply that keeping dirty animals in your home is gross, or that spending thousands of dollars on food and toys and vet bills and other such things is a poor use of money.
@Bobbythirdway You ignored the part of my post where I comment, in addition to the initial cost of the pet, on the cost of food, vet bills, in this case litter, and toys, as well as the dirtiness caused by keeping a pet in the house. If you’re ok with those things then more power to you.
@blancmontagnard And from my observations it’s typically poorer families that have the most pets. My cousins who were substantially poorer than my family had no less than 4 cats at a time as well as multiple dogs in a tiny house. Hair everywhere, it was disgusting.
@blancmontagnard From the time I was born to when I moved out we had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds, multiple hamsters, and a frog. We had no trouble affording these things but it is still my contention that these were wastes of money and that pets are gross.
