@FraserNelson@drb_diana I’m not sure you’re paying quite as much attention as you ought to be. There was a brief moment late last year where it might have been possible, but at this point there is absolutely no chance of Farage being PM. He won’t be Reform leader by the end of the month.
@Nigel_Farage When you are forced to resign as Reform leader (and presumably cede your ownership), will you also take the Chiltern Hundreds, or are you planning to sit as an independent?
@Thehuck_59@Zokko18 Success must driven by what you're heading towards, not what you're heading away from. Paint a picture of where we could be, then outline a strategy of how we get there. Division is at the root of our problems, talking about devolution just fosters that division. Disappointing.
@Thehuck_59@Zokko18 This is all such a terrible mistake. He might have the charm and charisma, but he doesn't have the intellectual heft. Starmer's key problem was an absence of clearly defined overall vision. Burnham flitting around yet more detail is no solution.
@Ye_Olde_Holborn@JonathanPieNews It could be argued (vey weakly) that lockdowns were totalitarian, but it certainly can't be said they were useless. Is there a shortage of adjectives, or do you simply not understand the meaning of words?
@__Englishman_@sydney1892@AndyBurnhamGM Respectfully, the data and evidence do not support your position whatsoever. You might feel like that, and in a climate bent on stoking division that's no surprise, but it isn't the reality.
@LoHiThinWide@ScottCoope84106@GuntherEagleman@elonmusk Historians quite rightly observe WWII was won by the allies, not a single country. It’s a lesson in the power of cooperation and partnership. They also observe the USA’s delayed entry cost millions of lives.
@LoHiThinWide@ScottCoope84106@GuntherEagleman@elonmusk So you’re rolling back from “rescuing you clowns” then? American cash was helpful, but as I’m sure you well know, it was only a loan which we repaid, so it was actually British cash.
@LoHiThinWide@ScottCoope84106@GuntherEagleman@elonmusk They teach very peculiar history in the USA. WWII was won by the western allies, led by the UK. The rest of the world understands the critical military power securing this victory was Russia. Only Americans think it was the USA. We all chuckle about it.
@ScottCoope84106@GuntherEagleman@elonmusk The USA couldn’t take the UK militarily. You have the most powerful army ever assembled on earth and you’ve never unilaterally won a war. Sit down.
@webb_carrie@jaketapper He’s pursing policies the opposite of the ones he campaigned on. So which policies do you want, the ones he promised or the ones he’s implementing? It’s hard to keep up isn’t it Carrie!
