It seems people don’t know me from the time I was speaking strongly on political matters. Right now I have a Chef so I’ve been calm. I entered uni in 2016 right before Prez Akuffo Addo won the elections. Mind you as an 18 year old I witnessed the final campaign season.

The propaganda, the lies, the toxicity, sheer malice just to gain political positions across the executive and legislature.

My education in law was 6 whole years.
2016-2022. The entire time it was Prez Akuffo Addo and Bawumia in power.

Every single year, it was back to back inflation, high cost of living, depreciation of the cedi, state capture of businesses by collapsing competitors, galamsey, financial loss to the state, corruption. Mind you I’ve not even mentioned the DDEP.

In shs we were shielded from most of these stuff. In university, we could see hostel mates struggling just because of increasing cost of living. People couldn’t afford fees, hostel fees were mindblowing yet they were distributing scholarships to their own privileged members to go abroad.

There was nepotism everywhere.
NSS scandal happening for years.
Scholarship scandals
One district one whatever
People were profiteering off the foods they were to give students

COVID
They were sharing the funds amongst themselves like make it make sense.
As if that’s not enough, they were gaslighting us, beating law students at protests, assaulting journalists, assaulting old ladies who went on peaceful demonstrations.

Former chief justice herself had to do a protest. Can you imagine how bad it was.

Then when people put their lives at risks to go on protests, to fight against the tyrannical rule, and there was a change in government, it’s these same members who have re-elected themselves into leaders of the same NPP to come and gaslight us, presenting the same Bawumia to us and saying although inflation at their time was 23% but now it is 5% it has not “reflected in the cost of living.” Although dollar has fallen from 18 cedis at his time to be stable around 11 cedis now, they’ve not seen “improvement in the lives of Ghanaians.”

Then this same Appiah Kumi whatever is the one wearing war clothes, inciting violence and pushing propaganda as his style to win support as if Ghana’s will openly welcome that nonsensical behavior.
Good riddance. Go and learn from the audacity of your stupidity.
