Welcome to my account. I mainly post analyses, most of them revolving around parallels, SKK, Dazai, Chuuya, and the character dynamics in the series. I'm also passionate about psychology, so expect one or two analyses (or more?) about how the show portrays mental illness.
It's kind of ironic that Gojo was THE guy that strived for autonomy and individualism but the fandom strips him of all nuance by insisting that none of his decisions or morals or thoughts were ever his own...
Gojo is such an amazing example of mental health issues that go unnoticed because the person seems fine on the outside, it's just a shame that neither the characters nor the readers consider it simply because he's "the strongest".
Gay marriage is not legal in Japan right now. A lot of BL coming out right now include weddings because they are fighting for it to be legalized. Either through awareness and/or donating some of the proceeds to fight for the cause. This is literally an LGBT rights movement there.
i don’t want queer people to have joint bank accounts 😍 i don’t want queer person having the rights to sign a hospital document in emergency 😍 i don’t want queer people adopting a child together as parents 😍 i don’t want queer people’s partners having rights to their partner’s assets and tax benefits 😍 i don’t want queer people’s to be legally recognised as a couple 😍 it’s heteronormative 😍 and we all should reject this in queer spaces 😍
Elon Musk held up a chainsaw, fed USAID into the wood chipper, and at least 600,00 people have already died as a result - two-thirds of them children.
History's first trillionaire.
reminder that if you ever dislike the writing in a fanfiction, you can, in fact, just click off it. even better, you can try your hand at writing, too! at no point in time should you be screenshotting excerpts and posting them to twitter just to make fun of them like an ass
This kind of fondness gojo always shows can never be halfhearted. If anything he’s overflowing with it. At the end of the day he’ll always be that boy with so much love to give
This fandom suffers from two characters having their trauma told in wildly different ways, one being overly spoon fed while the other is only interpreted and implied through his actions and motives, which is why we have people boldly saying that gojo isn’t traumatized
There's no obligatory fic. There's only the obligatory please read the source material or novel too so fanfic doesn't distort what is actually canon so you don't go around harassing people for your headcanons
getting unhealthily attached to a fictional character is actually the most humbling experience in the world cause you can’t even talk about them without sounding crazy
i know i tweet it constantly but i LOVE that dazai's best strategies revolve around allies. he uses ppl, yes, but also he just genuinely trusts his friends/allies and knows that sometimes you cant do something alone. what a beautiful lesson from a man who usually seems so lonely
She's just as guilty of perpetuating the abuse cycle in the port mafia AAAND grooming as Mori is, regardless of her victimhood of both, you all just don't focus on anyone but him being guilty and maybe Dazai/Akutagawa. Abuse cycles are complex! Non-perfect victim! Terrifying!
studio bones tries too hard to make him overly masculine, and it's part of why his mischaracterization can get so bad. his speaking patterns being changed, him not crying or having as much visible reaction when oda died, his stature, the unnecessary fanservice, his dub va, the—
