@jake_kolin@EricCrossMLB@Owen_FBB@Andrew_FBB Fair trade. You risk LRJ gaining lineup protection with a trade but if he doesn’t turn it around that’s not a trade you could get after Zebby established himself (which I think he will).
@BigWalt3103 @mlb_scoops Look for something along the lines of Beavers/Honeycutt + Creed Williams. PIT surely to target bats. Would they part with Mayo?
@brian_hockney@CBSScottWhite Lee is going to give you more production right away. Crews may struggle but has higher upside down the road.
I’m guessing redraft league if these guys are available so go Lee for now.
Chase Meidroth on the verge of a call up. OBP machine and an early season power display in AAA With 3HRs already. Power likely won’t continue ant this rate but double digit MLB HRs possible. Counting stats may suffer in CWS lineup but will be a BA/OBP asset. Good depth pickup!
Might be time to add Hunter Goodman to your team in most formats. The Rockies seem to be keeping him in the lineup on a daily basis and his C/OF eligibility is worth that alone, let alone his growing potential.
Roki Sasaki off to a brutal start. There’s pressure stepping into the Dodgers at a young age and so far from home. HOLD if you have him. If you don’t, fire off a couple buy low offers and see about an early season panic sell.
I’ve been preaching the value of Kyle Teel. With his scorching 🔥🔥start to the MiLB season it may be time to pick him up and hold if you have the room on your bench and he’s available. Will be a very useful fantasy catcher for years! HR/SB potential similar to peak Realmuto.
I always like to employ the strategy of using IL spots early in the season to hold injured pitching. Some targetable guys I’d be looking to hold until they come back:
Bradford
Jones
Giolito
Manaea
Myers
Cavalli
Gasser
Montas
Javier
Manoah
@Owen_FBB Grabbed him in a dynasty league. I agree for redraft purposes. Minimal returns based on his ETA. Type of P I’ve flipped for a future draft pick. Not one specific strategy involved here but based on approach could be worth a hold. I should start being more strategy specific tho.
Obviously some bigger names that are injured will be drafted earlier but these are late round/FA guys that can provide value when they return for almost no cost.
