In my personal experience, I've traveled around Greece quite a bit, and the large majority of hotels have air conditioning And, they're not expensive either.

everyone is always (rightfully) dogging on Europe for their lack of AC adoption but the homies in Greece, Malta, and Cypress deserve some recognition for bucking the trend and reasonable here. I know they're hot but so are Spain and Italy.

@fuelinggood @dunnde @RinnyTheGopher what question on source? also, what are you saying? I have a 75 iq. i don't understand much. Anyway, i just argued for a policy that would heavily penalize blends below e10 and not punish blends above e10.

@fuelinggood @dunnde @RinnyTheGopher That’s been talked about a lot. And the d6 mandate being set well above e10 blending is a nudge in that direction. I think a better policy would be get rid of the rfs, put a $0.25/gal excise tax on blends below 9% ethanol. People can get e0 if they need it; e10 stays standard.

@dunnde @fuelinggood @RinnyTheGopher Ultimately, E10 (by itself) costs the consumer a couple cents/gal after adjusting for energy density. that's small and it's already standard. We're not going back there. The ethanol industry is too large and lobby is too strong. But pushing for E15 standard is no bueno.

@dunnde @fuelinggood @RinnyTheGopher that conv reg, 87 aki without ethanol, so it meets octane requirements w/o EtOH. Most U.S. gasoline no longer requires oxygenates.

Also, we're very unlikely to go back to anything less than e10 as standard, but pushing for higher ethanol blends is dumb.
