@Aggro I actually only watched Betty's YouTube video, the tribute to Finch the other day. Beautiful video, and your post is beautifully written too. RIP Finch
I’m officially going to crown Sabrina Carpenter as the Queen of Misandry. Her new Pringles commercial focuses on her frustration with "man-children,” building her ideal partner out of chips, because she’s fed up with real men… a common theme coming from the pop star, like when she said to call men stupid in as many ways as you can if you want to write a hit song.
I wish she wasn’t so influential.
So funny to me. This implies almost half of her audience were men paying her money with the delusion that it would help them get with her romantically.
The men who do this deserve endless mockery.
We shut down Lanesborough.
We shut down Shannonbridge.
No gas fields. Green party banned everything.
Data centres are putting massive pressure on the grid, and we're building more of them.
Completely reliant on other countries for power.
This tweet is completely wrong.
‼️ Bord Bia Scandal ‼️
Aontú’s Senator Sarah O’Reilly has complained to SIPO about the mind-blowing revelation that the chairman of Bord Bia, responsible for promoting Irish beef, is managing director of a company importing Brazilian beef.
Farmers feel betrayed by the very people who are supposed to be looking out for them and promoting their produce.

Everyone who gives money to a charity should be fully aware of exaclty where the money would be spent. I mean, I'd have assumed that giving money to an Irish housing charity would mean helping Irish people struggling with homelessness. Apparently not the case.
FIA steward Vitantonio Liuzzi: 'Max Verstappen is a war machine. Too smart for the rulebook, hard to judge'
Asked what advice he would give to Verstappen, Norris, and Piastri:
🗣️"I wouldn’t say anything to Verstappen - he doesn’t listen anyway and doesn’t care what others think, laughs."
🗣️"Instead, I'd tell Norris and Piastri to rewatch all the races, to study what Max does, because in every race he's put them in trouble and manages to turn everything in his favor. They should analyze the overtaking rules more closely."
🗣️"Even in Brazil, Piastri could have positioned himself better. If it had been Max, he would have been better placed for the first corner. This isn’t about right or wrong - whether attacking or defending, Max always thinks about how to position himself so he either gains the advantage or, at worst, ends up on the edge."
Asked if Max is the most precise in this, even more than Hamilton?
🗣️"Yes, even more than anyone else. Max is a war machine in this regard. From a steward’s perspective, he makes things very difficult. He constantly puts himself right on the borderline, making incidents hard to judge. Even when penalties are given, his situations are complex to analyze, unlike many other incidents which are much clearer and easier to manage."

🧵THREAD: We recently learned that 50% of emergency homeless accommodation is now occupied by non Irish nationals. Then, on Friday just gone, the CSO published its Live Register December 2025 report. Read together, they tell a disturbing, connected story.
They attacked butter, we got margarine and seed oils.
They attacked leather, we got plastic shoes that fall apart.
They attacked wool, we got polyester that sheds microplastics.
Now they're attacking beef and offering you textured vegetable protein grown in factories.
Notice the pattern? Every "improvement" is worse for you and better for corporate profits.
Traditional materials work. Industrial substitutes don't. It's not complicated.
The government is a significant cause of the cost of living crisis.
Electricity prices highest in EU
Petrol tax up
Diesel tax up
Home heating oil tax up
Gas tax up
Tolls up
Middle income tax up
Rents being pushed up
Stamp prices increased

This is getting ridiculous.
The reason why we have a crisis in student accommodation is because the Government issued 60,000 student visas last year alone.
The Government is knowingly turning migration into a problem that is triggering capacity problems across all sectors.

What happens when there is no justice, no penalty, no deterrent.
More crime.
The criminal justice system is breaking down, and communities are suffering.
The Irish Farmer's Association entirely mislead their own members during the 2008 and 9 Lisbon referenda, telling them that voting yes would keep an Irish veto over trade deals.
16 years later, the cost of that lie has come home to roost for Irish farmers.
By me:
🇮🇪 Ireland - January 2026
The Irish government is issuing non-EU work permits for pizza shops and takeaways across the country.
This is what Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil call 'getting mass immigration under control' in the middle of a housing crisis. ⬇️
Ireland’s largest housing charity, the Peter McVerry Trust (PMVT), made undeclared payments over the course of a decade to a firm that was owned by its own external auditor, an https://t.co/4JEhhVGxwU Investigation can reveal. - Michael O'Farrell
The charity’s ex-auditor, Donal Ryan, also did not declare any conflict of interest with this firm, Electronic Commerce Training Consultancy (ECTC) the ownership of which was later switched to his sister Mary – while auditing the trust’s accounts.
Mr Ryan, who runs Dublin-based accountancy and auditing firm, Donal Ryan & Associates, was the external auditor of PMVT for a decade and a half, from 2006 to the end of 2021.
