If DSA does not defend public and state property, the election system could be replaced by a dictatorship of the proletariat that grants higher offices to the revolutionary party and over-rules the DSA and state govenments on economic policy and court appointments!

Arguments about Gramsci should be seen as threats of a fascist dictatorship that breaks organized labor by converting industry into public-private military production based on prison labor and slave labor. Gramsci was really defeated by Trotsky, who forced all European Communists into an alliance with the Comintern, which enforced Russian treaties on to foreign parties through a leadership purge. The German SPD and UK Labor Party forced submission to a fascist takeover in Italy without renewed revolution in Spain, France, or the UK, to balance the class struggle, creating a process that led to the fascist takeover of the entire continent. This policy came from a conscious capitalist policy to control Marxism from within using a class divide and an aristocratic Marxist leadership based on Engels and Plekhanov's disagreements with Marx and Eleanor Marx, and the submission to Kautsky in Germany that was not reversed in Russia until after 1915.

The Left Communists broke from Kautsky in 1912, united with Lenin again in 1915 once the Russian government had war powers to control the Bolshevik leadership, and were betrayed by the Bolshevik leader in theory with Lenin's Left Communism. That work justified the death of Luxemburg and the imprisonment of Gramsci, since Communist policy going forward would have to submit to Lenin's "democratic dictatorship of the workers and peasants," an open break from the Marxist program of a dictatorship of the proletariat that conquered the class divide within the revolutionary party, the revolutionary faction within the party, and then the state. A new form of Marxist dictatorship only allows the capitalist class room to maneuver into leadership positions and defend private profit, nationalist militarism, and cultural imperialism from within the communist movement. A break from Trotsky and Stalin was necessary for the European Communists just as the world war and fascism conquered the revolutionary movement. They could not fight fascism because they could not fight the capitalist class for the leadership positions produced by the Marxist Labor Movement.

1. Also, the French empire totaled 24 million km², about the same as Russia and Ghengis Khan's territory. However, the Spanish and French empires had a combined unique total of 35 million km², the same amount of land claimed by the British. The British-French overlap reached 10 million km², while the British-Spanish overlap reached 3 million km², and the French-Spanish empires had an overlap of 1 million km². However, if you exclude the Louisiana Purchase and Mexican territory, the overlap is reduced by over 90% in all three cases. The Mongol and Russian empires' overlap totaled 6 million km².

2. The French empire was divided into an early and late period, with very little overlap in territory in each of the two empires. The 1680 peak territory covered 10 million km², and the second peak of French territory roughly matched the Greco-Roman total of 13 million. Either of the two totals when combined with the Russian peak of 22 million km² roughly equaled the British empire's 35 million km².

3. The combined U.S.-British peak was 45 million km² in 1920. So, the British-U.S. total could be matched by the French-Russian historical total including both French empires or the French, Spanish, Russian total. That is a fair comparison because the Spanish former colonies and the U.S. are parallels in their relations to the Spanish and British empires. So, the French-Spanish-Russian total (the ~1900 French-Russian peak plus the former colonies of Spain that finished gaining independence in 1898) is about equal to the British-U.S. total (including Canada and Australia) at 45 million km².

4. All of these can be compared to the Marxist bloc total of 41 million km² by 1975. However, if we include all states that have had explicitly Marxist heads of state without a formal one-party Marxist state structure, that adds another 6.6 million in 7 Latin American countries plus South Africa and Nepal. So the new total, up to the current date, is 48 million km², 5 million of which was added since Hugo Chavez's 1999 victory in Venezuela.

5. The British-US total has been surpassed by Marxism, meaning that their territory can now be divided among the victors. As Lenin predicted, the physical limitations against further expansion due to the planned and negotiated divisions by the imperialist powers led to a new way of re-dividing the territory along the lines of the necessity associated with industrial production. The highest stage of capitalism still had to deal with financial parasites maintaining slave-labor relations for the class divide.

6. Labor would need to be freed from the restrictions imposed by capitalism in the interests of profit so that labor could negotiate the highest price for itself. This would lead to laws governing the labor process and end in the establishment of workers' states to manage the world's production. The establishment of a century long chain of events starting in 1917 and reaching the present state of affairs meant putting off the class war within the revolutionary Marxist world party in the interests of building an economic bloc large enough to confront NATO and the empires built by capitalism.

7. Now what remains is the establishment of workers' democracy and communist economic equality with the organizations of the world revolution, especially in the Stalinist states and the Right-wing Communist Parties and oppressive state bureaucracies associated with the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China. They retired their "Red Army" titles in 1946 and 1947 respectively so they could erase their own struggle against monarchist autocracy to uphold their own Bonapartist restoration of capitalist class relations.

The Greco-Roman empires covered 13 million km², 3 million overlapping and 5 million of unique territory each. The Spanish empire covered an amount equal to the Greco-Roman empire, while the Russian empire at 23 million km² covered close to twice as much before falling. The British empire covered as much territory as the Russian empire and the Spanish empire combined at 35 million km², one third of the world's territory, including Palestine when it was taken from the Ottomans and rebuilt as a colony for Jewish refugees gathered into concentration camps during WWII. Its foundation as a British colony structured the Zionist government from its 1948 foundation as an enemy of indigenous sovereignty for the entire Middle East. A defeat for imperialism would require an international revolution covering more territory than the British empire and restoring communist property as was practiced by the dispossessed people of the Americas and Eurasia when Tsarist property and British corporate property converted communist property, regardless of the quality of the records, into "decentralized" private property.
