@1996Galaxy@BrantfordTrue@BonkDaCarnivore Exactly, and OP was posting about Starlink hiking prices anyway, what do people think he'd be doing with a monopoly lol
Well-connected areas don't benefit from Starlink anyhow.
@CharlesWedyke @cremieuxrecueil This logic is backwards. The pay is not the cause for such indifference but the result of it. Growing up no one here wants to be a factory worker. This shortage gives unions a lot of leverage, but also leads to offshoring (cheaper labor). Probably the opposite of OPs argument.
@dieworkwear@dieworkwear Do you have any sock brands you'd recommend that are available enough but also good quality?
My family always swore by Falke but we have seen their quality really drop over the years. Thanks!
@AMonophthalmos@bronzeagemantis A lot of it is reclaimed land and super flat, forests never had much chance especially considering the immense agricultural pressure. Even still it has plenty of low density areas north.
@Tom_Rowsell Ancient times? Romans already spoke of massive forests in Germania. It didnt survive war, agriculture and industrialization intact.
I appreciate nature in all its forms,
but apparently countries have to be hecking cinematic now, with atmospheric slow burn bone chilling vistas
@Kanthan2030 Very strange you go to the 2009 study, not even the 2019 study by the same research center, biased?
If these people truly missed communism, why dont they vote communist? E.g. in Lithuania there is Socialist People's Front, they got 1% of the vote in last parliamentary elections.
