@brandenflasch More of a niche case but perfect for me. I daily drive a Model 3 and use my ICE pickup for towing a travel trailer in the summer. Will allow me to cut down to one vehicle from two but stay mostly EV.
@scottdellinger It's cool but I had issues with it on some automated machines in another country. Had to line up to talk to a person while the old passports seemed to work just fine.
@greggertruck For what it's worth my initial plan was Cybertruck, but I am instead keeping my '20 M3 LR to daily drive and bought a used ICE pickup and travel trailer this year. Zero pull thru superchargers near where I camp and none being built anytime soon with the SC team layoffs.
@BruceTheModel3 @YounieTyler@FordCanada I literally test drove one in Calgary today, but I also wouldn't purchase one without a local service center if I didn't live in Calgary.
@AriannaChelsea1 @itskyleconner Agreed, unfortunately ICE is still king for towing long distances today. There are hardly any pull through chargers anywhere near here as well.
@itskyleconner @AriannaChelsea1 I think for the average person, charge curve matters more than pack size. That's where Cybertruck is a huge letdown for me.
@OutofSpecDetail What a monumental blunder. So much ingenuity and then just horrible design decisions like this one. My 3 is typically like this in winter driving here in Canada but at least I can see out back.
@TesCalendar1 I really liked the one I test drove a week or two ago. Good pricing, quite a bit cheaper than CT or R1T. Biggest downside is the truck had about 19 percent SOC and a cold soaked battery so power was super reduced. Legacy dealers still suck at selling EVs.
