I think theres more to this story imo. Also it's how a lot of projects start. Naive if you think otherwise. Win-win for the project to iron things out then when they're ready they do a push to get their name out there and get people using it.

It's early and a 15m mc so getting into something like this has massive upside but obviously more risk attached. Still have plenty of boxes to tick but imo R/R i'm personally having a dabble.

Also on $Base and I think in this bullrun the $Base ecosystem will pop. Coinbase have all the resources and when they do something, they do it well.
